This voice actor is the best I've ever heard.

The performance is amazing, and the story is great. Like a well written DnD game.

I own the book and now the audiobook as well. Dan Abnett never disappoints. My favorite 40k writer.

Fantastic Novel, Fantastic Audio Book

Really enjoyed this not only as a novel but also as an audio book.
Toby Longworth is amazing. The voices for each character are good.
Dan Abnett knocked it out of the park again. The climax of the book feels like a film!
An excellent start to the Ravenor Trilogy.

simply amazing

I have to admit after the eisenhorn series was not sure how this series would stand up to it. it matched it toe for toe and I will now go to the next two ravanor books.

Great story, not whisper synchrd

While as always Dan Abnett does a fantastic job with the story, I found the volume fluctuated between characters greatly.
It was very easy for external noise to drown out some of them, even with noise cancelling headphones.

One of the best performances I ever heard

Loved the performance. The voices may not be to everyones likeing but its easy to distinguish the individual characters. As for the story its ok with a few twists but mostly builds for the future. If your on the fence, plunge right in to an interesting world.

Being a huge fan of Abnetts work I obviously enjoyed this and have been waiting on its audible release. Toby Longworth once again doesn't disappoint.
