So much explained

I am not sure how it has been done, but Kel Kade has created another masterpiece of literature with this book. If you are on the fence about continuing this series, I would compel you to read this book as it explains much about the previous books.
Nick Podehl is a master of voices. His characters all sound so consistent across all of these audiobooks, and I have a new appreciation for the art. These narrators are akin to my favorite actors, they can make or break an audiobook, and Podehl performance is outstanding.

Great series, horrible book 4 ending cliffhanger.

I'm a big fan of all four books, and can't wait for the fifth. However, the ending of book four is extremely aggravating. I understand the concept of "cliffhangers", but some things just need closure. That's a lot of negative feelings to leave your readers hanging on to. Aside from this one, personally perceived con, I think it's a very original story that's very entertaining. Very excited for book five.

Can't Wait for Next One

Let me put it this way, I put off listening to the next The Land book, to listen to book 3 and 4 of this series. Great series, I can sum up most complaints with one word--or name: Frisha. Other than that, overall a great read. I would encourage people to look at some of the book reviews & ratings too (all high), and I can just say that Nick Pohdel never disappoints. Now off to listen to The Land, and wait for the next book in this series (which is a prequel).

I have loved the books for their entirety until now. Im worried about the direction of the story because of the ending of this book.
