Good Story. I was left wanting more.

While I enjoyed Mortal Remains, the ending came on too quickly. This book could have been twice as long. I was looking for another twist or turn at the end, but it never came.

Enjoyable

I really enjoy this series and getting to know Walker's team and George. The writing takes to on a journey where yes murders take place then also into the head of that person, on how they see what they do and reason's. As always this book relates to everyday people's lives what some of us are experiencing with elderly parents, family and work life. Narration as usual is great.

So enjoying this series

Characters and stories develop beautifully and I always enjoy when we get short insights from the murderer. I keep listening to this series and soon have all of them

One of the better stories in this series...

I enjoyed this installment more than the last few. At least they weren't verbally assaulting each other as much, and Jameson finds a new home. I never really understood his character as he didn't add much to the overall storyline. Narration was great as usual.

Best Series

In plots, characters, and narration….this series beats them all . I hope Sally Rigby never stops writing about Cavendish and Walker & Co.

I'm out

As the story goes on I hate the characters more & more. Also doesn't follow ANY sense of reality. 20+ murders and it doesn't move up the chain to a more advanced team to solve? cmon

Not as good as others in the series

I have to agree with some of the other reviews which indicated this book is not as enjoyable as others. There was no suspense or "who did it". Crimes took place, investigations held and it all wound up. Even when I got to the end and the discovery of the culprit I kept expecting the twist but no twist came. The story just ended. But in saying that, it's part of a series so it's still compulsory reading.
