Pretty Good

I enjoyed it well enough. Definitely not for everyone as it isn’t the most exciting or original story but I found it enjoyable.

Alone against the world.

That’s the vibe you want this is for you. I’m a little old to really feel like all the “hard decisions” are earned. I was expecting the whole time that the world ended up ending because of MCs attitude somehow but that’s not it I think. Not as bad as some by far. I just am in a different point in my life.

well done magic system

I loved the magic and voice actors were so good.
story was bit weird and I have trouble with visualzing a three year old doing it tho.

Matthew Broderick

The narrator sounds exactly like Matthew Broderick. I'm hooked on this book can't wait to listen to more

odd, but fun

Powerful mage reborn into a child's body and having to grow up again. Reactions are a bit odd at times, but I think the narrator does a great job

Incredibly unrated series

A nice break from isekai style genres. Really stood out on the depth of the story line didn’t beat the “stats” out of the whole book.

As Advertised

It’s a basic story. Not overly flashy. Yes, you have to suspend a certain amount of reality with the age thing but it doesn’t distract much.

Great But Odd Story

Of all the reincarnated into a child stories, this is probably one of the most realistic. The MC spends most of their time dealing with people either disregarding him due to being a 9,000 year old mage in a three year old. Or people not trusting him due to his odd age. Still he manages to do things that are slow, methodical, and above all believable. The world is vast, and I can't wait to find out what happens next.

Annoying issue, but still a good read/listen

I like the story, I bought the second one, and I'm currently listening to it. My only real issue is that the author doesn't have people talking to the toddler MC like he's the toddler that he is. It's like the author wrote the whole story, then while editing realized his mistake. Eventually, within each conversation, someone will make a comment about the MC's age, but it's obviously written as an afterthought. Adults talk to him like he's an adult as well, then randomly mention his age. It's not always organic. Only his parents mention that he's a child. I can overlook it, if barely.

the main protag

the main protage gravin(kierin) is fun to follow in their new life as they try to find a way to reclaim what they lost. I find the pacing to be easy to follow and the humor makes me chuckle every mow and again. I'm looking forward to the next book which I have waiting for me in my library.
