Incredible balance of characters and amazing character development!

If you like fantasy and light LitRPG style books, this series is a winner. I recently enjoyed books like Dungeon Crawler Carl and Mimic and Me, for reference of my preference. Incredible characters and build up to the climatic points! Some foul language when used to get a point across but VERY seldom, so it’s pretty safe around most audiences.

Well written and witty. Love the “human spark” development that Henry goes through. Solid ending as well. I wonder how well Henry and Prepotente from dungeon crawler carl would get along

A good story with weak execution

don't get me wrong. this is a great story and should be listened to. it was enjoyable through book 5ish. but the ending was weak, lackluster and very rushed and unsatisfying. lots of loose threads and storyline not explored and thr main character just sort of went god mode in the end and that always ruins a story when not earned. do give it a listen though.

Great Series

Wasn’t sure I would like it but ended up loving the story. It has a great build up and a good storyline.

Not Your Average Stat Loving LitRPG

I am a huge LitRPG fan and this book still scratched the itch, even though there were little to no stats given past book 2. The narrator overall did a great job. The story actually kept my interest through all 71 hours. I was a bit sad to see the story end. However, it is nice to know I am not going to have to wait for more books to come out, or read 15 books with no satisfying ending before I get bored. Definitely worth the credit.

Love it

This was a great series. I’d love a continuation of it but it had a satisfying ending.
While the narrator does a great job conveying emotion in his voice, he was kind of lacking in his ability to maintain certain tones for each character.

Amazing power-scaling

From a hapless young boy to the fiercest warrior, this is an amazing anthology with fantastic character growth and progression with lovable side characters. 11/10
