I wish I'd had this voice a long time ago. As Fleming beautifully describes: your wounds don't define you—they’ve simply been waiting for the healing touch only you can provide.

That could mean a lot of things to different people. But what I got from it is this. You may not be at fault for all the things that happened in the past, and they don't have to trap you forever. But now, it's up to you what your life will be, and what will come from all of it.

And the good news, as Fleming tells us, is you can teach the "inner child" to "ride the bike of life" with joy and compassion ... moving past fear and criticism. If you don't give love to you, how can you count on others to, when they are flawed and on their own journey? It's time to take responsibility for your own heart. To care for your inner child, and give them what they've needed.

The tone is warm and compassionate, guiding you gently. The exercises are simple but effective, low pressure and realistic to implement, but powerful. The book is both validating and empowering.

I would recommend getting it and getting ready for a journey of healing :) you won't regret trying it.

This book explains the connection between past trauma and present struggles. It gives the listener the tools to identify and heal past hurts and emotional damages. It gives practical exercises, so it’s an action book. Sound advice to help the reader create healthy boundaries and “how to” takes care of relationships. Powerful, well organized and with activities to help the listener implement the advices given. And most important the author gives the methods to implement lasting change. The only down, the cover could have been more eye grabing. I almost passed-by this book.

This book really made me think a lot about my upbringing and I realized that my family wasn't perfect. We all have unhealed issues from back when we were growing up and im gonna send this to them. I think it would be a good way to get the conversation started so we can all heal.

This was a good one
