Highly recommended

This was super informative and well written. Other reviews mention it's repetitiveness and how weird the suggestions are. I appreciated the repetition of very important points, and what might seem weird to a modern reader is simply the presentation of a traditional way of eating.
I found the information empowering. I've also implemented most of the suggestions months ago and can say it is life changing. I will certainly continue to follow the advice in this book and others. I've never felt better!

Life changing

It took me about two weeks to finish this book. I already look different, and so do my children. My joints aren't aching, my skin has cleared up and I feel better energy. Highly recommend!!!

Good book

I think this was a great book with loads of info. Of course I am still confused about this way of eating raising cholesterol levels in my ldl and total.

Great general overall nutrition.

it's a overall general nutrition information. some are in depth nutrition information. not a plant based push but for all natural, organic, grass fed and clean eating. great information.

Dr. Cate - You need to Narrate

Material: great
Performance: good
Overall: well worth it

Dear Dr. Cate,
I have seen you on interviews and YouTube presentations. You sell yourself short by not narrating your own material. While authors typically should not narrate (there are very few exceptions) some specialists, such as yourself, can add much needed life to fact based topics. Take a listen to Liz Wolfe! Her heart is in her voice.

I purchased a hard copy of your book. It reads well because it’s obviously written in your own voice. Next time opt for speaking in your own voice.

Eye-Opening Truth Bomb

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I recommend Deep Nutrition. This is a book for virtually every American because certain researchers and the medical establishment are blaming "fats" for everything but Dr. Cate Shanahan expertly explains how this simplistic outlook is dead wrong. Furthermore, she proposes excellent solutions.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I loved the emphasis on epigenetics, especially as a scientist. That being said, the book is extremely simple for anybody to read and understand. I'm writing a book on Epigenetics because I think it's the future of scientific knowledge and I will definitely be singing the praises of Deep Nutrition in my own book.

Any additional comments?

Along with a short list of other health books, this book is a necessary part of your inoculation to modern "establishment" medical culture, which is leading America in greater and greater disease and obesity.
