Needing the last book to hit more!

I’m not sure what happened from book one to now.. but it’s falling flat for me. This one lacked any kind of story point on the main characters it seemed. It felt like this was a book about the majority of the characters within the series and prior books versus more about Alexia and Cross. The main action to the plot happened at the very end but still didn’t feel enough. This was not what I was expecting and I’m hoping that Bones’s book gives me all the feels like I’m really anticipating.

Every page had me on edge; secrets, heat, drama, and heart.

“We all have a cross to bear…” and ohhh, did I feel every word of that in this book 😭

I absolutely love the Dark Kings world and this story just fed my obsession even more! 👑 Every time one of these Kings finds his Queen, I swear my heart gets stolen all over again, and this time it was Cross’s turn. ❤️‍🔥

Cross is loyal, protective, and surprisingly tender beneath all that darkness. He’s the fire you want to get burned by. 🖤
And Alexa? My girl is fierce, independent, and doesn’t take crap from anyone. 🔥 She’s strong, sexy, and stands her ground like a true Queen. Together? Pure combustion. ⚡

Their chemistry was addictive; passionate, intense, and oh-so-consuming. I couldn’t stop reading! 📖
Every page had me on edge; secrets, heat, drama, and heart. Shantel Tessier does it again! 👏
