Enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed this book. This was my first time reading a book by Jill Ramsower and it certainly will not be my last. The plot and characters were well developed and there was suspense added it. I can wait to read the next books in the series.

Mafia Romance.

This is a slow burn, arranged marriage, age gap, Mafia Romance. One of my favourite things in a romance.
Fantastic narration, Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross did an amazing job!

Great story by my two fav actors!

Balance Mafia Romance

I love the storyline development and progression to a happy resolution. This is a great start for the series with Conner and Noemi's romance. I am ready for my next story in this series.
My only irritation was the internal babbling of MFC, Noemi, and her inaction on the main conflict as well as her determination to fix the problem without a plan. However, this made her character more realistic, especially in her situation. No spoiler here...go ahead and read this book.

Narrators: I love the duel narration by both gender. Their voices were pleasant to listen to for the duration of the story.

Started slower but story turned out great

story picked up about a quarter of the way. I struggled at first to stay interested to the story but it picked up and took off. the readers performance helped to make the story good.

Worth it!

Saw it mentioned on TikTok and don’t regret one minute. Excellent story and excellent narrator’s!

A Mafia Arranged Marriage Romance

Silent Vows by Jill Ramsower is a mafia arranged marriage romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. This is the first book in The Bryne Brothers series.

I absolutely love Jill’s books. She does an amazing job pulling me into the story that I can't help but binge them in one sitting. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Connor and Noemi. I liked that we got both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Corrupted Union to be released on April 4, 2023, so I can get Keir and Rowan's story.

Kai and Wen did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, mafia romances, arranged marriages, or romantic suspense.

It was ok

Kinda disappointed. There was way too much inner monologue back and forth he loves me he loves me not. Boring after a while. Plot was predictable. The narration was good but the male character was not well represented by the narrator. He was a bad guy but the voice was more like a guy that would be carrying his wife’s purse with a baby swaddled to his chest. 🙂
Not gonna bother with any more in this series.
