This is a plus--sized novel that is about 130,000 words long.

Lissa is madly in love with Saber and it seems he returns her feelings but she has a problem. She and the man of her dreams both come from the same clan of the Touch Kindred. By the archaic laws of their people, they are too closely related to be bonded. Which means that even though there is no blood tie between them, they are doomed to remain apart.

loved this book. I've read it as well as listened to it. In the beginning I wasn't sure I would like the narrator. He did an excellent job!!

I loved this series when I read it. I decided to listen to it in audible this time around. The reader ruined this book for me with all the WHISPERING. gah!

I love all of the Kindred book series so far. But the character Lissa, she was annoying and whiny. This is the only character that I couldn't stand. I hope no more are like her. I enjoyed all of the other books written by Evangeline Anderson.

My one complaint about this story is Lissa. She was annoying and to whiney. I loved Draven and L. The whole switching was great! I really do love the character Merrick as well!

I want to start off by saying I love the Kindred Brides series as a whole. But this is by far my least favorite addition to the series. The female character was difficult to relate to and the whole "Virgin Priestess" thing was a bit much. But there is one specific thing in this book that made me uncomfortable. *tiny sort of spoiler* The main character girl has to force herself on the main character guy, and even though he liked the sex in the end. He did not want to have sex in this way in the first place. He was coerced by extreme circumstances, and that just doesn't sit right with me. However, if you like the kindred bride series and the dom-female mistress and sub-male slave thing is your kink, you will love this book.

This story is one all paranormal lovers will love. William Martin did a fantastic job narrating the characters within this story and if you've listened to the previous audible books in this series, you will also love this one. I do recommend that you listen to this series in order because they are interconnected stories. My only problem with this story would be Lissa's character because she was such a weak character at times but when she did show her strength, those were the moments I enjoyed. I absolutely enjoyed Saber and I definitely enjoyed the parts with my favorite characters from previous books in this story. There is no way to listen to this story and not feel some type of way. I can't wait to listen to the next book in this series and I do hope that William Martin will narrate the next story.

The book is good the most annoying thing is the narration. The worst is the whisper for thoughts. It's so darn annoying it super close to being a book I would rather read than listen to. Trust me it has to be very bad for me to do that.

Love these books but the narrator whispering the thoughts of the characters is driving me nuts. He’s wonderful with the individual voices but the whispering makes me cringe every time he does it. The stories are entertaining and I will probably still listen to them but please narrator STOP THE WHISPERING
