Publisher's Summary

A Warrior sworn to get his mate back or die trying...a woman under a curse which stole her love...Rone is determined to win back Kate's heart, even though he has been...forgotten

Kate McMillan has a good life and a decent job working at a jewelry store but there’s something wrong. She also has a hole in her memory - a three year gap where she can’t remember a thing. Kate tries to tell herself she’s okay but she knows it isn’t true. Someone is hunting her - a huge man with glowing blue eyes is lingering on the edges of her vision. Every time Kate sees him her pulse races and fear grips her.

Rone is a Wulven Kindred - feared and shunned even by others of the Kindred race. For the Wulven carry a Beast inside them that will kill anyone unlucky enough to be near when it emerges. Only a female who has tamed a male Wulven’s Beast is immune from this danger. Rone once had such a mate - before she was snatched away.

For months he’s been searching for his missing bride but when he finally locates Kate, he finds that she has forgotten him completely. Not only that, but his mere presence engenders a panic response in the woman who once loved him. Their bond has been broken and Kate doesn’t know him. Worse, his Beast no longer acknowledges her as his mated female. Rone doesn’t blame Kate for thinking he is dangerous - he is and always will be unless she can tame his Beast.

But in order to tame the Beast, Kate must take a terrible risk...one that may end in her death. Will she be able to control her fear and face the danger that lives inside her mate or will Rone remain forever...forgotten?

Omg so hot!!

I have to say one of my favorite of the Kindred novels and so much character development for Y. The author really outdid herself with this one and I cannot wait for the next part of this story. I really like the good characters and the villains. Really brings the story together and oh so good. The intimate scenes in this book are not for the faint of heart. It’s intense and sure to keep you up at night wanting more. I enjoyed this book so much I’m going to listen to it twice! 😊😍

Intriguing story

I'm intrigued by the way this story ended but can't help what will happen to two now. I'm glad they got to be together this time for life and she tamed his beast and found their love again. Thank for another great story to read and listen too💖

So good

As with all the previous books, this one is worth a credit. The struggles they go through at the start of the book make the happiness they get at the end of the book.

Great Story & Great Performance

I loved this story and the narrator did a great job on all the voices.

I can no longer deal with the whispering.

The author is one of my favorite for erotica, as she is a great world builder. The story arcs are ever changing. But the narrator is more than aggravating with his constant whispering. He has a nice speaking voice... but the whispering hits a tone that is like fingers on a blackboard. I prefer the computer generated voice of kindle to his whispers.

Good addition to the series.

Not my favorite book in the series, but not my least favorite. While I like Evangeline Anderson, sometimes the story takes a bit to get anywhere, I feel that the stories could be shortened a bit, but maybe it’s just the narrator who needs to be speeded up. I do hope that Y gets away from 2 and he gets to have a story, as I’m intrigued by him and feel he can be redeemed. And like any of EA books there is lots of smexy times. I look forward to the next book. I like the narrator fairly well, but I prefer him with a 1.3x speed.

Funny

Even though this book dealt with serious content that continues to occur at the present, there were a lot of sections in the book that were hilarious. I love the thoughts read out loud. This series is excellent, different stories and situations with each book. Two is a piece of work! Narrator is excellent as usual. On to the next book!

Stop whispering

Before my rant, I would like to say the story is interesting and the narrator does a good job at parts. However, there are moments that are great in the audio. But the female is presented in a way that she has no power. She always came across as timid and shy even if the narrative said otherwise. Also the whispering was never needed as much as it was. Good to represent the knowing but for just her thoughts it wasn’t needed. It didn’t come across well and was rather irritating at times. It also made her seem more timid and little. I wish there was a version without any whispering.

A lot of you know that I don’t like to give away the story because I want you to read and find out for yourself just how fantastic this series is. There are a lot of ladies out there that will agree with me. If you have never seen any of these types of romance’s before, then I recommend them to you. Start with book 1 in this series. I promise you won’t regret it. There is a whole universe for you to explore if you just give them a chance. Enjoy.
