This book took me off guard, the way this book talks about death and living is just so peaceful. There really is no words to describe it. The way she talks about love and understanding is just amazing.

I WANTED to be excited for this book. I really really did.. But.. I’m not sure that I really was. It was very hard to continue listening to. It wasn’t the worst I’ve listened to, but definitely not the best. 😕

The characters in the story were a little one dimensional. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t incredible, and that’s OK. Not every story has to be world changing. I appreciated that it was fairly short, which was just the right amount of time for me to enjoy during my weekend. I would read other books by this author and I may return to listen to this book in the future, but probably not in the near future.

If your looking for a short pallet cleanser in between your books this one is great! My favorite is death poetry. I would say 🌶️🌶️/5 spice.

I'm still reeling from the dark and fast-paced journey! 🖤Performed by my favourite Brit, the legendary Shane East, and the stunning new-to-me Nikki Grey – these two absolutely blew me away in this deliciously dark performance.

I’m forever in my Dark Romance Era, and this audiobook was a delectable feast, drenched in steam, spice, and the irresistible magnetism of the ultimate “Shadow Daddy” that only Shane East can deliver. Shane's portrayal of Letum, added that perfect touch to the Grim Reaper narrative, and devouring this audiobook was like savouring a most decadent story in my ever-expanding collection. So, when Death whispers in the irresistible tones of Shane East: the voice we love to take to bed now haunting our dreams. Lilith never stood a chance.

Speaking of, Nikki Grey, a sparkling addition to my narrator harem, blew me away with her brilliant performance as Lillith. Her voice, so captivating and nuanced, brought a fresh dimension to the story.

Avina St. Graves, my newfound obsession, wielded words with finesse, wrapping the narrative in dark themes that demand caution – triggers seamlessly blended into what dark romance lovers like me deem a tantalizing trope list. Avina's perspective on Death/Grim Reaper is refreshingly different, and I absolutely loved it. 🖤

The duet narration was the icing on the cake, making this auditory experience even more captivating for this avid audio lover. Massive kudos to Avina for weaving her magical words and gifting us the auditory bliss that is Shane East's performance as Letum - he's the perfect embodiment of the "Shadow Daddy". And let's not forget Nikki's portrayal of Lilith, she blew me away!

If you're into dark, mesmerizing tales with a unique take on Death, with a deliciously possessive “Shadow Daddy” then this one is an absolute must listen. Your ears will thank me later.

Letum’s voice was wonderful and just as I imagined it would be when reading the physical book, and the same goes for Lilith’s voice. I 100% will be listening again

This story read like a love poem between depression and death - and it was so beautifully written.

Letum was a top tier daddy death and he had my heart swooning and my soul melting into a puddle. Lilith was such a beautifully complex character and I wasn’t ready to see her story end.

The audiobook narration was ✨amazing✨ with both Nikki Grey & Shane East delivering so much depth in their performance - truly bringing this story to life!
