SO GOOD, SO SPICY!

Ria Wilde did it AGAIN! LOVED IT!! The story was dark and difficult to listen to at times (triggers for human trafficking) and the twist at the end brought me to tears!! The story kept me on edge, there were times when I wanted to scream at the FMC (Eleanor) because of her naivety, but that was a huge part of her character. Zara Hampton Brown did and excellent job playing Eleanor - she is a fabulous narrator.
JAMES JOSEPH as Kingston… was PURE PERFECTION! 🥵James Joseph is one of my favorite male narrators, but he leads the pack when it comes to erotic and spice! And this book had some REALLY DELICIOUS spice! EVERYTHING he narrates is perfection! If you like dark, spice, mafia(ish) vibes and British accents - THIS IS YOUR BOOK!

Incredibly Spicy!

Everything sounds better in a British accent! I’ve listened to other stories from this author, but I’ve never enjoyed the narrator’s voicing the opposite sex characters. It always made the story sound cheesy and took me out of it. That why this duel narration style is really becoming the only way I want to listen to a story like this. I loved it! Two great narrators who are both new to me, but I will file their names (and voices away) for further listening. Very hot.

Eleanor and King make for an interesting couple. He is determined in his mission and she is basically collateral damage or so it begins, to getting to his goals. I really appreciated getting to see Ace, Ellie and King and the relationships they developed as the story went on. I really enjoyed getting the glimpse of King in the Twisted City duet. He really drew me in even though he was not a primary character at all for those books. I could not get over his intensity.
I was lucky enough to get to listen to and read this story and I am here to tell you Zara and James did an amazing job bringing the voice to this story. They both brought so much life into their characters. Get the audiobook you will not regret it. I can not wait for the next book to be avaliable on audio. ❤️

Kingston and Eleanor ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

I loved The Twisted City Duet, so I was very excited to listen to Kingston's story.

Wicked Heart was a great balance of dark suspense and spice. This book is HOT!!
Ria Wilde writes beautifully descriptive scenes. I could 'see'
everything that was happening so clearly. The story flowed nicely and kept me interested.
I loved the sweet innocence of Eleanor and wicked darkness of Kingston. They are a perfect opposites attract match.

The narration is excellent! Zara Hampton-Brown has the perfect innocent voice but was also able to pull off the sexy and intense scenes. And James Joseph...wow, he has a great voice! He is the perfect Kingston. He is also very convincing with the voicing of the different male characters. I will definitely be listening to these narrators again.

I love Ria's writing, and I really enjoyed this book. I'm looking forward to the second in the series.

This is a new author to me and it is an intriguing storyline with characters that make one lose their breath as the narrators bring this audiobook to life. Kingston is a hard man who has earned his position and learned some hard life lessons. I equate him to an onion peeling back his layers as the chapters progress. He does not trust easily and when it comes to love, he keeps things close to the vest and does not enter into relationships lightly, if ever. However, when he does love, he will do everything in his power to burn down the world which brings him to his current mission of getting revenge against the Syndicate who kidnapped his sister years ago. Eleanor is a personal assistant who meets Kingston at her workplace and from their first meeting, she intrigued him. Not one to let an opportunity pass him by, Kingston seduces Eleanor and coerces her into helping him. What began as a means to an end has become so much more. Can Kingston and Eleanor bring the Syndicate to justice? James Joseph does an incredible job narrating this part. His accent will have anyone swooning. Zara Hampton Brown is an added gem as she artfully matches the intensity and emotion that one would expect from these characters. Once you start this audiobook, you will not be able to stop as this is one all-encompassing listen that you do not want to end. If you are looking for a dark/mafia romance, this is one for you.
