An Amazon top 50 dark romance series.

If you love dark humor, found family vibes, and a morally grey heroine with a tongue as sharp as her blades, this series will swallow you whole.

Morally black. Unhinged. Killers.

Corvus, Rook, and Grey – the Crows.

Bred in a world of gang wars, violence, and secrets, they rule the bloody town of Thorn Valley and all the people in it…too bad for me, I’ve never been good at kissing ass or keeping quiet.

Even if their black souls awaken something inside of me I thought was long dead, I can’t break. I won’t.

They think they scare me, that I’ll run and hide, but the joke’s on them. The Crows aren’t the first monsters I’ve faced, and they won’t be the last. There are worse evils out there waiting to take their stab at Ava Jade Mason.

I say let them try. I’m tired of running. Tired of holding back my darkness. Thorn Valley isn’t ready for a new boogeyman. Too bad I’m already here.

Warning: this story is intended for mature audiences and contains foul language, high heat, lots of murdery mayhem, and jealous/possessive themes. Please listen responsibly.

The best-selling Boys of Briar Hall series contains hours of fast-paced dark romance for you to binge!

Corvus was too growly but other than that.. I loved this true duet.. it’s so much better when the women does all the women and the guy does all the men voices! I loved this series so much and that just made it so much better❤️

True duet!😍

Great book series

This was a great series, minus a couple minor downsides.

Pros - Character Development, Backstory Suspense, & Key Character Interactions

1) The individual characters were well developed and strongly conveyed their individual weaknesses and strengths, and the evolution of those as they progressed together.

2) The introduction of each character’s backstory was well paced, leaving some suspense as to their individual experiences and how they built the overall character’s specific personalities. It didn’t give everything up front but wove in their history at a natural manner as they got to know each other.

3) The character connections and bonds were well managed and not so far fetched that they seemed entirely separate of each other. How each connection and bond was built, and/or broke down, felt decently planned. There were a couple side characters that just kind of “fell off,” but overall, each major connection had clear start and finish lines.

Cons - Setting, Timeframes, & Male Voices

1) It would have been better set in a college timeframe, not at a high school level. The overall character development, plots activities, and voice acting really didn’t fit the “senior year” setting of the book. It would have been better (and more realistic) being set in sophomore or junior year of college.

2) The timeline pacing was rushed. Extending the timeline of the story to an academic year instead of a single semester would have better fit the story progression and made the overall progression more realistic.

3) I love duet style recording, but this would have really benefited from a full cast. Trying to build 4 separate and influential characters from one male voice is hard, and this honestly over extended the actors range and capabilities. Jake did as good as could be expected, but the overly “growly” voice of Corvis especially just doesn’t work.

Overall: I enjoyed the series and would recommend it. Non of the downsides were enough to destroy the experience. ENJOY!!

Good story, needs full cast

I liked it at first but it has started to feel like a task to finish. The last two hours has taken me days to finish

Bored by the last book
