How to start actually liking social interactions

If you're someone who has ever struggled with social anxiety or shyness, then this book is for you. The author provides a practical guide that will help you overcome your fears and become more confident in social situations. The book is easy to read, and the techniques provided are backed up by research and real-life examples. One of the things that I appreciated most about the book was the focus on building genuine connections with others rather than just "networking".

Amazing book

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audiobook. Being an introverted person who feels socially awkward and inadequate to initiate and sustain meaningful conversations with others, I found this book very helpful in learning the skills that I need to conquer my social anxiety and master my interpersonal skills. The chapters I found very helpful were Small Talk Guru and Being Natural. I loved the examples the author used to prove his point. The narrator fits well. If you have this anxiety about talking to others, then this book is for you. Worth listening.

So Much to Work With

This is going to be a game changer for any teenager and adult alike. This book breaks down a seemingly difficult life skill into bite-sized pieces that are easy to digest. This information would also be very effective on a corporate level. A sales manager could gift this to a new employee. This is because the book covers topics everyone should know. e.g. How to add value to a conversation, cultural differences, and nonverbal queues. All of the information seems to be relevant and I didn't feel like there was any filler. The narrator had a smooth delivery which also made the information easy to listen to.

Very Useful

I have always struggled to introduce myself to new people or start conversations due to anxiety. There have been many times that I failed to talk to people I have wanted to, or have not been able to communicate in the way I have wanted to because of nerves and awkwardness. I am glad I found this guide because after listening, I have used the advice and inspiration to work on my communication skills and I have noticed a great improvement. My confidence has improved and I feel as if my relationships with people are stronger. I recommend this audiobook.
