Winter's Promise

This is another wonderful book by Giavanna Reaves that has a surprise ending. I love how she keeps me on my toes. With the sudden death of his brother, Creed found himself not only in front of his nephew's guardian but his mate, Winter. What were the fates thinking? This book is full of mystery and hot claiming sex, friends you treated like family and a cute baby, only to discover your reality has been turned upside down. I recommend this book and look forward to book 2.
Narrator John Solo does an amazing job.

So sadly sweet

Oh it's a teartearjerker from the start. Insta love, fated mates. It's overall a good story with a little mystery and intrigue and the narration of course is down well.

Really enjoyed this one from Giovanna Reaves and narrated by the amazing John Solo! It was well written and somewhat angsty which is right up my alley! Looking forward to more from this duo!

Even better when it is read to you!

I loved this sweet story when I read it in ebook form. But having this narrator bring the story to life was even better! The author gives you the right amount of emotional and intrigued. A lovely happening ending for both main characters. The narrator gave them all a whole new level of emotion.

wonderful atory

I loved Winter's Promise by GIovanna Reaves. It's a sweet story about living after loss and building a family. Winter and Creed are great characters that I fell in love with. Fun, sweet and sexy. Their story is entertaining and kept my attention. There is sweetness, sexiness, humor, a tough of mystery and drama... a very satisfying read.

Narration by John Solo raises the enjoyment value of this audiobook. Clear and smooth recording and voicework.

Excellent Beginning!😊

I am a huge fan of Giovanna Reaves, and have listened to many of her books. I must say she is a beast. Her writing, imagination, storylines, characters, and creativity are off the charts. This was a very enjoyable beginning to her new series. The only little complaint I have is, it was to short. I wanted more of Winter's & Creed's story. Other than that, it was enjoyable and entertaining with the first-rate narration by John Solo. He's one of the best voice actors out here, and also one of my favorite. I just pray🙏and keeping my fingers🤞that she will not have her fan's waiting so long for this entire series to become available on audible. I'm still waiting & watching for her to release book 2 of Jordan's Pryde series on audible. I know it's on kindle but just like me, there are a lot of people who only listen to books on audible. All this being said, I definitely recommend this book!🤗

Good start to a new series

It was heartbreaking to see Winter lose his bestfriend Caroline and her mate Richard. But Winter has their son Conner to raise and take care of so he still has a little part of them. What Winter doesn't expect, is that Richard's brother Creed is his mate. Creed finds out two weeks after their death that it happened but since he is so close to being discharged, he is able to leave early and makes his way home. When he first meets Winter, he is such a nasty idiot and thinks he is just going to come in & take Conner away from Winter. Well Winter is having none of it. But when they finally realize they are both on the same side & wants only the best for Conner, the also give into the pull of their mating bond. As they are working on getting to know each other & bond, Creed finds out that maybe the accident that killed Caroline & Richard might not have been an accident. So now Creed & his buddy Riley, who is also a former hook-up when they just needed the itch to be scratched while they were in the service, are trying to figure out what happened. I figured out who was behind it but not the reasoning why. I really enjoyed the book and can't wait to read Riley & Terry's story.

Sweet story of life after tragedy

Winter's a great friend who takes on his raising his best friend's baby after her death. Unfortunately, he has to work with her husband's younger brother, Creed, who came back from the military to take on his nephew. Luckily, they happen to be fated mates that just need to figure out how to make things work.

Of course, there's someone that isn't happy with how things are happening but with a HEA, it all gets sorted out.

John Solo is one of my favorite narrators and he does a great job with this story.

Love me, bite me and hold me

Of course I enjoyed this. 😁 I mean fated mates, a baby and Mpreg and a sassy omega .. what’s not to love? 😉 Plus, my favorite John Solo is the narrator so it’s all win for me. 💜

When his best friend Caroline suddenly passed away in a car accident, Winter found himself being left with Caroline’s newborn baby. He’s beyond sad and anguished but he’ll do everything in his power to take care and cherish this baby. And then, Creed came knocking into his life. The younger brother of Caroline’s husband who also passed away in the unfortunate car accident, Creed came back from the early to take custody of the little bundle from Winter. But then they are fated mates. Things seem to all work out in the beginning. Fated mates, an adorable baby and booming business but darkness is lurking in the corner waiting for a chance to destroy the newfound family’s happiness. Will Creed and Winter get their happily ever after?

I liked that there are lots of twists and turns in the story because I had no idea who the villain was. 😳 I loved the romance and the fated mate trope but it’s interesting and lovely to see some fresh mystery/thriller aspect in it. Needless to say, Creed and Winter were so hot together 🔥 and the epilogue was lovely. All in all, a really enjoyable audio. I loved listening this. 😌
