What The Ever Loving ...... F

This sums up what I am feeling right about now. I mean how can I even express my thoughts at this moment.
I don’t know if I liked it, loved it, or hated it. Seriously I am so so many emotions right now.
I am afraid to let myself think too hard about this book for fear I might go a little crazy.

How can I have such strong emotions to a work of FICTION and yes I had to keep telling myself this was FICTION NOT real PAM NOT Real!! Haha.

My good friend got some pretty interesting voice messages and even a vid of me because I couldn’t contain myself I had to share what I was feeling with someone!!!!

Nothing like any of Colleen’s other books for sure, so remember that when going in. I KNEW this going in and still, I was shocked. Her ability to make me viscerally hate a character, a true gift with the words is what she has.

I will be over here in shock and trying to justify it to myself.

I enjoyed the heck out the narrators I think they did a fabulous job.

WOW. I am speechless. I don't know that a book has ever left me speechless before.

Lowin is an author who is asked to complete a book series for a well known author, Verity, who was incapacitated in a car accident. Lowin was given access to Verity's office to research her plans for the remaining books. Lowin comes across Verity's autobiography and discovers much more than she bargained for.

This book was all kinds of disturbing & mind blowing. I'm not going to lie and say it was an easy read. Some of the content was pretty difficult to get through. However, it had me on the edge of my seat & was a page turner for sure. This book was so well written, but I expected no less from Colleen.

As a side note, this was my first audio book. I wasn't overly impressed with the narrators. They seemed awkward and when they changed their voice to do impressions of other characters, it came off as cheesy.

Okay so I am a die hard Colleen Hoover fan. Like I've read just about all of her books so I feel like I have a sense for her writing. THIS. THIS IS NOT LIKE ANYTHING SHES WRITTEN BEFORE. I was on the edge of my seat until the last page. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a thriller and definitely, in true COHO style, a massive plot twist. 10/10 would recommend.

Did not love the narration

The storyline was great. The narration was terrible. One sounded like an automatic voice recording you get when you call tech support, and the other was too immature sounding for the character.

Suspenseful

Holds your curiosity and live the surprise ending. I am not a fan of Verity’s voice. Most the time sounded like the rote voice of the tic toc girl.

Quite possibly one of the best books I’ve ever read. I listened to this in one day because I JUST COULD NOT STOP. I will not address any of the plot for fear of spoilers. I’m also completely speechless. Only one famous movie quote comes to mind: “Now is the time to ask yourself what you believe.”

This book was nothing what I expected and I loved it. I thought I had it figured out but no. Now that it is over it left me wanting more to read. This was my first book from Colleen Hoover, well done you hooked me.
