Publisher's Summary

Good neighbors invite you over for dinner, bring you baked goods to welcome you to the neighborhood, and wave hello at the mailbox. Good neighbors do not destroy your life.

When Bryant and Harper Page move to Lancaster Mills, their first encounter with their new neighbors - Jason and Tori Fuller, who are beautiful, strange, and terrifying - is anything but a warm welcome. Despite their hesitations, the Pages are intrigued by the people they now share a street with. As their curiosity gets the best of them, they discover that there’s much more to the Fullers than meets the eye. Their new neighbors have secrets, that much is obvious, but just how dangerous could they be?

With two haunting shadows lingering over their house and lives, the Pages’ relationship is tested in every way.

Took a chance, and was not disappointed!

Usually, I like longer books because the shorter ones always feel rushed and missing details. This one was not like that, and I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish.

It is very well written, and set at a perfect pace. The twists were just right and not at all over or underdone, and I loved the ending. The narrator sometimes sounds bored, but that didn’t turn me off of the book.

I highly recommend!

Kiersten Modglin is a brilliant storyteller!

This is the second book I've read by the author and it certainly won't be the last. I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down.!

Decent Story

This came recommended by a neighbor who was reading it for her book club. She said it was soo good! Decent story, not so predictable plot twist. While I did t hate the narration I didn’t love it. Overall it was ok and since I had extra credits I wasn’t mad that I used one on this

Ridiculously bad

This is utterly terrible, with a stupid plot, awful writing, and a preposterous ending. Save your time and money, skip this one.

Loved it!!

Another delicious listen by Kiersten Modglin! I didn’t see the end coming and it kept me guessing. The narrator did an excellent job!

Too Fast

This book was not very satisfying. Everything happened so fast it was completely unbelievable. No spoilers, but I can’t really recommend it.

Couldn't finish it.

I looked at this book because of the narrator whose voice and presentation I always enjoy. The story was just too much, beyond common sense. After a few chapters, I just gave up. Not For Me.

worst story ever

This story line made zero sense and was extremely boring. I kept waiting for the plot to come together but the ending was just as disappointing as the entire thing. Save your money!

twists and turns

Narrator was great. I loved the story but some parts were odd. Interesting twists at the end. Hated the husband throughout so it was hard to have any empathy for him.
Great book for a 5 hour car ride.
