Publisher's summary

Discovering the mother that you thought was dead for over a decade is very much alive can shake your world.

Even more so would be to discover that she has become a mutant-vampire leader and has promised you in marriage to a wicked vampire king in order to unite the two kingdoms.

Now, let’s combine that with the fact that the bearer of such news is a hot and sexy guy who turns out to be a vampire, and he steals your heart. Then, complicate it even more with the fact that he has an equally hot vampire brother vying for your love and who you also have feelings for, and you get an idea of Casey's dilemma in this sizzling, action-packed first book of a paranormal romance thriller trilogy.

YA nonsense

I endured this all the way through looking for something positive, sadly no. 1,000 year-old vampires acting like as sophomoric as the 18-year-old immature heroine. We have humans, magical humans, mutant humans, mutant vampires and true vampires mixing it up and double/triple crossing each other. The author writes like she's making it up as she goes along and the narrator as if she's reading it for the first time, badly. I've read other Sheehan books which were quite good so I'm putting this down as a one-off.

Not bad

Thus story about witches and vampires has alot of action with evil has poor innocent 18 year old Casey embroiled in nasty situations. The plot line is not bad, and interesting. My criticism is of the narration. Ms. Johnson voiced an excellent Scottish brogue, however the emotion and feeling was missing. This story ends in a cliffhanger.

Vampire Witch

I really wanted to love this story. I loved the plot and the characters. The narrator kind of spoiled it for me. She uses the same tone of voice for every character so I had no idea which character was speaking. Overall was a good story and definetly plan to read it.

Another great vampire story

The story has vampires and mutant vampires, it's pretty horrifying what this human goes through she seems to not stop having sex with everyone. She has two brothers competing for her and at one point has a baby. She was given to the vampire king and he's just evil. It's very entertaining, a completely enjoyable book.
