Solid Christian Advise

The author provides a wealth of anecdotes and life stories to support the times when she felt embarrassed, rejected, and lonely with recommendations on how to overcome these feelings with the knowledge that God is for you. I liked her "me too" attitude where she never pontificates without a life story to back it up. The only issue with the book is that the stories tend to go a bit long, meandering, so I found myself forgetting the point at times. Still, a solid read...

Love the book but the narrator reads way too fast.

What made the experience of listening to Uninvited the most enjoyable?

The story. Love listening to Lysa's books. Love her stories. Love the inspiration. The only problem with this book is the narrator. Feels like she is speeding through it. Her voice is good for audio books if she would slow down a tiny bit.... The other books of Lysa's I have listened too, she narrated herself. Liked them better. Basically, my issue is NOT with the book, but the speed at which it is read. (My audio is set to normal).

Loved

Loved this book, it really makes you think about yourself and who you are and need to be. On rough days I good back and reread chapters.

Great Message

I loved this book but had a hard time with the performance (reader). I admittedly am very sensitive to noises so there are a lot of books I cannot listen too because of the reader (I actually have a list of "bad readers"). The reader spoke way too fast and was extremely gaspy. I could not listen to the book in the car - I listened while I was getting ready in the mornings and somewhat distracted. If you are like me, push through as the content is worth the listen.
