Good solid story

Based off the premise if the first book I thought this would be bad but wow, the story turned out really well done and I enjoyed it.

The second book did very well in to still showing the weakness of the main character and not giving her to big of a head. I like his she stands her ground. Over all great job.

A creative fantasy Gamelit story

Travail Online is a creative Gamelit fantasy story. This is the second book in the series. I have not yet read or listened to the first book, and I was still able to enjoy this one. The story is a bit slow at times and focuses more on the game elements that I would prefer, but overall it is a good story with an interesting plot. I would consider this book appropriate for YA readers as well as adults. The narrator of the audiobook does a good job.

Engaging LitRPG story

I enjoyed listening to this one. there was a food amount of character development and the interaction between real life and the game world was well designed. there were developments throughout the story that kept me guessing until the end.

Highly recommended.

meh

Interesting but nothing to right home. The flesh weaving aspect puts a neat twist on litrpg. My biggest complaint is Daniel being a huge cry baby. Those types of characters really get on my nerves.

Top of the LitRPG genre

Completely absorbing and interesting throughout--perfect diversion from the "real world". I love the character development, the clever plotting, the fascinating world, and the realistic approach each character takes throughout. An excellent combination of fun and seriousness. Well-done, indeed! Wish to goodness next two were available on Audible. Tied with just a couple others as top of the LitRPG genre.

not the sequel I wanted

turn the Mary Sue to 11
ignore internal rules from book 1
ignore character points from book 1

the only redeeming feature of this book is Andrea's performance and even she couldn't turn it into a pleasant experience

awful and unrealistic

Sorry but the things that happen in this book and how the people of the world react is just fake as hell. There is literal proof that the company running the game can brainwash people and no government does anything, no arrests are made, no investigation by governments, just nothing. The players knew something was going on but instead of going to the police they try and solve it in game?! Just plain stupid. I will not be reading anymore of this series.
