Publisher's summary

From master storyteller and New York Times-bestseller Tad Williams comes the third book in the landmark epic fantasy saga of Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn.

Tad Williams introduced audiences to the incredible fantasy world of Osten Ard in his internationally bestselling series Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn. The trilogy inspired a generation of modern fantasy writers, including George R.R. Martin, Patrick Rothfuss, and Christopher Paolini, and defined Tad Williams as one of the most important fantasy writers of our time.

BOOK THREE: TO GREEN ANGEL TOWER

The evil minions of the undead Sithi Storm King are beginning their final preparations for the kingdom-shattering culmination of their dark sorceries, drawing King Elias ever deeper into their nightmarish, spell-spun world.

As the Storm King’s power grows and the boundaries of time begin to blur, the loyal allies of Prince Josua struggle to rally their forces at the Stone of Farewell. There, too, Simon and the surviving members of the League of the Scroll have gathered for a desperate attempt to unravel mysteries from the forgotten past.

For if the League can reclaim these age-old secrets of magic long-buried beneath the dusts of time, they may be able to reveal to Josua and his army the only means of striking down the unslayable foe....

After the landmark Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn trilogy, the epic saga of Osten Ard continues with The Heart of What Was Lost. Then don’t miss the sequel trilogy, The Last King of Osten Ard, beginning with The Witchwood Crown!

Fantastic! Great book, wonderful performance.

Excellent book. An all-time fave from a guy who grew up on classic fantasy. This was my 2nd listen and it was great as always. Highly recommended.

loved it!

I read this trilogy in my twenties. I finished To Green Angel Tower on Jury Duty for 4 days in Houston. 20 years later and enjoying the story again. Looking forward to the new book. What a richly woven tapestry, Tad Williams has written!

Amazing book

Started reading at my dads recommendation, he read these books in college just as I am now, and oh man im suprised I havent heard of this book at all. Wonderfully told, gripping story, (after the first half of the first book), and very satisfyingconclusion that made me absolutely beam with joy. Great trilogy, in my opinion on par with the Lord of the Rings!

Pretty good

I enjoyed all three books in the series. I only have one major complaint. The teen protagonist is whiny to the point I nearly abandoned the story. A minor gripe is with the voices which were not distinct enough and often sounded too similar. Part of that is due to the large cast of characters.

Ingenious and addictive, this needs to be a mega production.

I started with Witchwood Crown, Out of sequence but enjoying just as much. Narrator has a lot of talent.
