Best author/narrator combo!!

Absolutely loved listening to this series after reading the original trilogy decades ago. Williams and Wincott are an amazing duo!!

Best fourth book of a trilogy ever.

This series is phenomenal. Just excellent. Tad Williams knows how to build an immersive world with relatable believable characters. This book is possibly the best fantasy book I’ve ever read.

OUTSTANDING

It did everything a concluding book should. It wrapped everything up perfectly but provided a few seeds of what could happen next. If you love the ending to LOTR where the biggest danger ends at about 65 percent of the way through and has a very leisurely ending you will love this. Lots of answers finally! Lots of death and happy moments so its very bittersweet.

Best of the series - a satisfying conclusion

Most books in this series felt like Williams “stretched” the content to fit a book.

In contrast, this finale is crammed with answers and resolutions.
