Another great Rachel Reid hockey book!

Wow Rachel Reid, the Queen, just keeps scoring with her amazing hockey romances! Really really loved this standalone so much! Also alllllways love Cooper North’s narration. Landon and Casey were so adorable and wonderful together and for each other, and their families were also so fun to spend time with as well! Is I need to reread the other standalone!

I can’t stop listening!

I’ve tried listening to other hockey romance stories, but no one writes them like Rachel Reid does. These characters have so much nuance but are written with so much care and humanity, you can’t help but fall in love with them. I keep coming back to re-listen to this because it’s a great story but it’s made even better by Cooper Norths narration. I’m endlessly impressed with the difference voices audio actors create and I can’t get enough of Casey and Landon’s cute voices and emotional interactions. Anyone rating this four stars needs to get their ears checked because to me, it’s perfection!!

Feel Good Holiday Romance

Time To Shine is a MM, opposites attract, friends-to-lovers, forced proximity, slow burn sports romance that is the perfect read for the holiday season. All of the characters in this book were standout phenomenal, from the two main characters to all of the supporting characters. Casey is an absolute ray of sunshine who brings happiness and joy everywhere he goes. He was the perfect person Landon needed in his life for so many reasons. Landon was quiet, shy, and still dealing with trauma from his past, but he still had such a huge heart and so much to offer Casey. Casey and Landon had such strong chemistry first as friends, then as lovers. The development of their relationship was so sweet, tender, and swoon-worthy. If you're looking for a feel good romance for this holiday season that will have you laughing and leave you feeling like you've been wrapped in a warm hug, make sure to add Time To Shine to your TBR.

Good story, great performance

I liked both main characters (in very different ways) and happily went along on their growth arcs. The story is fun and engaging. I’m filled with admiration for Cooper North’s performance. Masterful, nuanced, flowing, with empathy for all the characters and their perspectives. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
