Story
So many of us today feel like we’re merely existing instead of thriving - and that’s where a purpose-oriented mind-set comes in. Living with purpose means using your gifts, in keeping with your values, to make a positive impact on the lives of others. But it’s not easy. Half the work of cultivating greater purpose in life involves facing personal and profound questions. What matters most to me? What do I value in other people, and why? What positive change do I want to see in the world?

Story
Social scientist Brené Brown has ignited a global conversation on courage, vulnerability, shame, and worthiness. Her pioneering work uncovered a profound truth: Vulnerability - the willingness to show up and be seen with no guarantee of outcome - is the only path to more love, belonging, creativity, and joy. But living a brave life is not always easy: We are, inevitably, going to stumble and fall. It is the rise from falling that Brown takes as her subject in Rising Strong.

In this workshop, Daisley lays out specific strategies to help us break free from the unhealthy work habits that lead to burnout and shows us that protecting our personal time can lead to more inspiration and more joy on the job.

Story
Every day we experience the uncertainty, risks, and emotional exposure that define what it means to be vulnerable or to dare greatly. Based on 12 years of pioneering research, Dr. Brené Brown dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and argues that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage. Brown explains how vulnerability is both the core of difficult emotions like fear, grief, and disappointment, and the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, empathy, innovation, and creativity.

Life changer.
My wish is for everyone I’ve ever known to listen to and apply these powerful lessons. Truly. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have found Meadow’s work several years ago, and have taken many of her courses since. This one is/was especially potent and meaningful for me, and I am thrilled that it is available to share with others in this format.
This work has changed the way I show up in relationships, at work, with my money, in the kitchen and at the dinner table. The way I show up for others and especially myself, has changed for the better. I am forever grateful that Meadow exists, and that I found her work and wisdom when I did. I had NO IDEA I had a worthiness issue. I had no idea that pretty much EVERYONE else does, too.
She is a master at simplifying consciousness and mindfulness into universal language that makes the (sometimes painful) lessons easy to understand and apply.
Let this work of art and love wash over you and open you up to your true self. What a gift.

No one can do your work for you, but Meadow can light the way thru your darkness to a joyful, vibrant life worth living. This book is golden gem after golden gem of very important insight and wisdom. Meadow earned this wisdom by living it, documenting it, looking it straight in the scary face. Now she's generously offering it up for us. I am eternally grateful to have found Meadow DeVor nearly a decade a go. I've happily spent time and money learning from her in different ways. You can get the distillation of her process and accelerate yours all in this one book. Listen to this NOW, TODAY. The rest of your life is waiting.

Not the same ol' self-help book
Loving the unique perspective of this author! She strikes the right balance between sharing concepts as well as real examples that create vivid images. Opening with a bit of her own back story lends so much real-world credibility to the rest of the book. I'm not even all the way through it yet but can already tell that I'll be revisiting several bookmarks again and again. The author's narration also rings authentic. Thank you, Meadow, for sharing these unique yet relatable insights earned through your lived experience and years of work with clients.

Make time for yourself
In a world where the most precious commodities could arguably be time and oneself, this audiobook focuses on the fundamental principles of acceptance and understanding of oneself in a modern era. Meadow DeVor illustrates these fundamental principles through a series of stories that portray her personal struggle and that of several others with different situations. She has done excellent work simplifying the concepts conveyed.
Without spoiling anything, this audiobook is more than worth than listening twice. The most uniquely amazing portion of this narrative is her description of playing piano for Benazir Bhutto, Prime Minister of Pakistan. The inspiration and the wisdom this reading carries deserves to be shared with everyone.

Great Concept-Worthy or Not???
I loved this book. It puts some age-old issues into a new perspective. There were things I related to personally and things I related to people I love and care about. I love that Meadow gives answers to guide and help folks along their paths; unlike many books that just highlight the vulnerabilities with no light beckoning at the end of the tale.
This is great information for those who feel they’re not doing their best as well as those who think they have it “all together”, but feel something missing.
I hope to hear more from Meadow DeVor. May God bless her.

WOW!!! Drop everything and listen right now!
I've followed Meadow for several years, and her work is clear, knowledgeable, and helpful. This book, though -- it wow'ed me. Her performance is stellar -- emotional and authentic. The structure of the book breaks this complex work into bite-sized, approachable chunks. A self help book with exercises that you actually want to do instead of skipping to the next chapter?! Relatable characters! Really brilliant. I hope The Worthy Project book clubs start popping up everywhere. This work is so needed and Meadow has made it accessible and entertaining, because she's really lived it and is telling the truth from the inside out. WOW!

Meadow DeVor is not only a gifted storyteller but in this book she outlines action steps which are not only fun, but will move you forward in all aspects of your life. I have completed all of the activities outlined in this book and I can tell you first hand that the steps outlined will transform your life. Lasting change mostly happens through small incremental changes that begin to compound. This book will help you to clarify where in your life you are hiding or selling yourself short. It will also guide you through actions you can take to begin to feel and own your worth. You will not be disappointed!

Profound
I have followed Meadow for years, reading her books and listening to her podcasts. She had already helped me unimaginably. But this, this is what is underneath everything for me. I can clearly see the parallels in my life and Meadow’s and the reasons I have felt unworthy and allowed myself to feel unworthy. This book broke it down for me and allowed myself to really see my patterns and the reasons behind them. It has given me the ability to be able to forgive and hold myself like never before. I feel like something has really shifted in me and I feel lighter. I am smiling writing this after an early morning dog walk listening to this. I cried my eyes out listening to Meadow’s story at the end. Her vulnerability is palpable and her honesty of how and why she felt like she did opened me up to how I feel. I felt like it could have been me on that trampoline... thank you so much for writing this Meadow from deep in my heart. This has changed me. I can now begin my worthy story ❤️.
I can’t wait to listen to it again! Xxx

I listened to this book while gardening and it matched the calm nature of the task.
Every now and again you hear the authors voice catch as she tells of a personal moment. I found so much of me in this book and therefore found the tips for change hugely beneficial.

This is for YOU!
Sceptical of another random “recommendation” from audible, this kept appearing so I thought I’d give it 15 minutes…
WOW!
The introduction is my story but, more than a decade later, and still bruised by the experience, I shrunk into the smallest spaces, literally and metaphorically, I could find. Relationships with narrow minded, small minded people; work that does challenge or interest me; and, financially, avoiding any responsibilities beyond meeting my needs week to week.
The more I listened and thought about my worth, the more I realised how much of the last decade has been about living up to my worthlessness. That’s changed… or changing, ingrained messages and habits are difficult to shift.
What’s most inspiring is that the writer’s journey from rock bottom hasn’t been smooth or easy, and she’s candid about that too. I do not know a woman - possibly a person - who wouldn’t benefit from listening to this book. Why? Because we - you and me - are worth it.
