a little to head hopping for my taste

I would have liked this more if the narrative just stuck with one or two main characters. instead it randomly diving into other characters thoughts and then getting back to the story. The author showed us what was going one with actions that created the picture, then head hopped and made sure to tell us. I feel like the author thought we were dumb and had to hop into another characters head to make sure we understood what was going on. If you take out the head hopping though it is a cute and well told story.

Amazing book

This Magnolia Grove book is so interesting, intertwined many things, edge of seat, twists and turns. I highly reccommend this book.

Love, Love, Love this Audiobook

I loved this book! Great storyline. it is just like real life. I highly recommend.

As Good As It Gets!

This story grips you right from the beginning and doesn't let you go until after the last page. It makes you weep right along with the characters and makes you celebrate with them as well! The narration was great and there was never any doubt which character was talking. To be such masterful narrators that you could tell when a charcyer was talking, yet also what they were thinking!! Well done!

A Joy to Read

It was a joy to listen to an audiobook about real life issues of love, loss, family dynamics, personal growth, special needs, God given talents, and new beginnings without it being full of profanity or explicit sexual scenes. I was glad that I didn't have to stop the story just because my grandkids entered the room. Thank you for a more wholesome story to enjoy as I work or drive.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

There are way too many Points of View. It makes the book feel overly cluttered.

Any additional comments?

It's OK without being outstanding. A bit like Emily March or perhaps even Barbara O'Neal. But I would say Barbara O'Neal is brilliant...Summer of New Beginnings never quite got there.

Just what I needed

Just what I needed. This book is like a nice cool glass of ice tea on a hot summer day. I tend to not read women's fiction because it can be over the top sweet for me but this was a perfect combination of a great story, southern charm, and just a touch of romance, oh and of course a dog (I am a sucker for a good dog book). The first few chapters were a little slow for me but I kept with it and was so glad I did. Looks like this might be a series and I will be checking into that for sure. Thank you Amazon Prime.
