Publisher's summary

Raven and her sister, Cara, are at the mercy of a small detachment of Florentine vampyres who are delivering them as a peace offering to the feared Curia in Rome. Though she's unsure William survived the coup that toppled his principality, Raven is determined to protect her sister at all costs, even if it means challenging Borek, the commander of the detachment. In an effort to keep Raven from falling into the hands of his enemies, William puts himself at the mercy of the Roman, the dangerous and mysterious vampyre king of Italy. But the Roman is not what he expects.

Alliances and enmities will shift and merge as William struggles to save the woman he loves and his principality without plunging the vampyre population into a world war. This stunning conclusion to the Florentine series will take listeners across Italy and beyond as the lovers fight to remain together...forever.

I love this series,!

if you've listen to the other two books in this series, this is a wonderful final installment. Robertson Dean does a great job of narrating the story. it is very satisfying conclusion.

Just my opinion -

Book 1 and 2 “5 stars” great stories and side characters I liked and wanted to know more about...

I usually do not like to leave a negative review-but the ending was very so so for me...

It gave a conclusion for the story-but I feel with how Book 1&2 went -I was just let down and I did not like what happened with the main character in the end-but that’s just my opinion

Great story

I enjoyed the whole series over and over. Story line is great. Loved William and Raven love that Gabriel & Julia was throughout the Florentine Series. Looking forward to meeting William in Gabriel’s Redemption that is in production now thank you SR for being my favorite author now and writing such wonderful books.

Sylvain Reynard is my new favorite author

I loved it. I still feel like there should be more to their story. I hope Sylvain will give us more of William and Raven's story. My emotions were ALL over the place. I'll definitely listen again. I gave an earlier bad review of the narrator at which I am correcting now. I recently very sadly found out that John Michael Morgan, the previous narrator of the Gabriel's Inferno and The Florentine series had passed away before he could narrate The Roman. I unfairly gave Robertson Dean a bad review simply because he wasn't John Morgan. As I relistened, I began to enjoy listening to him without the irritation I had before. I realized I'd been very unfair.

AWESOME NOVEL 💯♥️🌹🌟

The Florentine novels are very Entertaining and the Best Vampire Romance I've listened too 💯x9 👏🌟🌹♥️📚🤗
Each character demonstrated their strength in different ways. The Prince, the most Powerful vampire took the forefront as a leader and adversary to those whom he ruled. He's also a Gentleman, Lover/Husband, Stratagist and your worst enemy (if anyone ever crossed him). Loved the Romance between William & Raven 💯♥️
Bora Bora 🏖⛵🌊🐬 Awesome Novels!!!!
Looking forward to listening to the next audio "The Man in the Black Suit" ✍☕📖

Excellent Conclusion To Florentine Saga!!

Great ending for William and Raven. Even great ending for Gaberiel and Julianne. Listening and Reading at the same time, the printed book was very different from audiobook, phrases changed, some sentences omitted. Audiobook better. The richness of the literature and history of Florence, Geneva, Prague, and other cities sighted in audiobook was very enjoyable. Love the cariture devolvement as spane over four books, some lovable, some pure evil, some a little of both. A must read. New narrator was fair needs to know the correct pronunciation of Beatrice.
