Good book, horrible narration!
Narrator is very nasal and speaks like I would expect to hear a modern day teenaged Valley girl!! Ugh!!! So difficult to listen to this book and enjoy it.

Good overall
This is different than what I normally listen to. I enjoyed parts of this book but there were parts that irked me as well. I am a widow myself, I was 39 when my husband passed 10 years ago. While it is true that grieving has no expiration date I also believe that if you live too much in the past you can’t move forward. I loved the pink house in the story and the character Maize. I only wish there was more of it in the story.
