A useful book about Insulin Resistance Diet

If you have tried every diet and are still struggling with your weight, the real culprit may be insulin resistance. This book was easy to read and gave a lot of helpful information as well as examples and menu ideas. The book proposes that no foods are forbidden, as long as they are eaten in the right combination with protein. They give you numerous examples of meals in the right balance to achieve this effect. I highly recommended this book!

my research

It's a good read to get started on research about insulin resistance. Even included a meal plan which seemed a little far fetched but it gives you ideas on how to start.

I love the recipes!

I make a smoothie every morning and my family likes the meals for dinner. This is truly an amazing book and a great resource for women dealing with hormonal imbalances. I received this cookbook complimentary from the publisher. I appreciated how Martin D. Kaiser was transparent in sharing her own struggles with PCOS, and what she has done to overcome it.

Great starting point

I love the book. I think its a great reference and starting point. You do need to be a little flexible, it can be lacking in the flavor department. Nothing that can't be fixed with adding a few spices. I've found it easy to turn some recipes into freezer meals and crockpot meals. So far so good. Even hubby approved.

Healing with Food

This book was excellent! The information and recipes were just what I needed. This is a really great book. I have recently been diagnosing with PCOS and this book has helped me get on a diet that helps relieve the symptoms.

It becomes my favorite.

I spent my whole life-fighting food. Thankfully I don’t have to anymore. This book will provide you a detailed coverage that why you people are getting a victim of insulin resistance and getting fat with its solution.

Great Recipes

I haven't gotten all the way through this yet, but what I have skimmed looks excellent. It gives realistic goals for those just beginning to adapt their lifestyles and explanations of why our bodies react to certain foods the way they do.
