This books is extremely informative with a solid basis in research and science. It has clear explanations regarding the dietary recommendations and easy to follow guidelines with lots of additional free online information on the associated website. If you are looking to improve your health, lose weight and keep it off, and reverse the effects of various chronic diseases as well as decrease the need for and possibly eliminate various medications, then this is the right book for you!

Would you listen to Eat Fat, Get Thin again? Why?
This book could be way shorter. 2/3 of the book is a compilation of studies backing up the author's point. I get it, you need to make sure the reader knows its not bull poopy, however its too much! Skip the first 9 chapters if you want to get to the point. Also, he is super repetitive. However, overall the book is very informative and helpful.Way too many studies

What did you like best about this story?
Insanely good! So much information. My favorite part is how Dr. Hyman breaks down hundreds of studies and explains how some of the most well-intentioned studies did not take certain aspects of information into account. How they basically "jumped to conclusions" based on faulty results. And how that has led to the epidemic we are facing today. He answered SO many of my questions. Even questions I didn't know I had!I actually listened to the audiobook, which I highly recommend, then went back, recapped, and made notes with the hardcover. I am now buying this book for many of my friends.The information in this book is invaluable and I wish I could buy one for everyone in the world who would benefit from it. Unfortunately, that is basically everyone on planet Earth. It's about SO MUCH MORE THAN WEIGHT. It's about health.
Trust me. Just get this book. Read it cover to cover. Absorb the information. Do the program. Get healthy.
I don't know Dr. Hyman. I made all purchases on my own. And I can't recommend it enough.
