Wow, this book was full of twists and turns that I was not expecting, but I loved each and every one of them! The connection I felt between Reyna and Hale was intense and strong, and I know part of that is thanks to Mr. Master’s narration. He had this amazing voice that really just brought the characters to life for me! Reyna was strong and at times rash, but I loved how she was able to defend herself and knew her own strengths! Hale was dominant and possessive, but you could tell he really cared about his mate. I really enjoyed listening to this book and would recommend it to anyone who loves dominant aliens loving their mate!

Had an ultimate eargasm

I definitely enjoyed this. I love the plot/flow of the book and the audiobook most. The narrator did his best while narrating this and I'm giving him a big thumbs up.

Wonderful story with strong characters!!!

The Hunter’s Mate, an Audiobook by Morganna Williams was a tantalizing, romantic, sizzling story of Hale and Reyna. He’s a Cantari Hunter sent to earth in search of Cantari enemies. He comes across Reyna, living like a vagabond in a cave and in desperate need to someone to care for her. He has his way of making her comply with his demands.
I really enjoyed this story, as I haven’t read anything from this author!!! It was a WONDERFUL story!!! Well-written and the characters came alive within her prose!!!

The narration by Dominick Masters was a little disjointed. I know that he was ‘trying’ to voice Hale as a ‘foreign hunter’, but it made this character sound a bit awkward and stilted. But, otherwise, his characterizations were very good!!!!
I LOVED this incredibly poignant, touching, steamy, story of unexpected, forbidden love!!!! What a great story!!!

Loved this story

Wow, I loved this story. The world building in each setting was well done. Loved both of these characters. Reyna and Hale are interesting and unique. The storyline leaves the reader wondering if there will be more stories from these worlds. I loved the ending. The narration adds so much life to the story.

The Narrator was great!

I love this book. The narrator really did a great job with the characters. It was very believable and I really enjoyed it!

Decent listen for what it was

I don't listen to a lot of erotica, and I think I would have enjoyed this more in its written form. If you enjoy Insta-love, not a lot of plot, and lots of pretty good sex scenes, then this might be the book for you. I prefer more of a slow build up. The narrator seemed uncomfortable reading the sex scenes.

Fun futuristic audible book!

I enjoyed the characters in this book. Hale is a dominant male that loves his mate. But when she was puts herself in danger she better be ready for a hard spanking. Reyna is a strong woman that has evaded capture by aliens for awhile. She is sassy and that can get her in trouble. There is also a talking dog- like creature that adds comedy and wisdom to the story. The narrator's has a deep commanding voice for his male characters and also good voices for the females. I received this Audible book and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review. I highly recommend this book.

Great listen

I just reviewed the second book, my caged mate.
I will tell you now to get the next one and enjoy. slow the narration to1.25x. Don't be so uptight on the narrator. His voice is good if not different from some others. People are too judgemental on narrators. give them a break. Try to enjoy other ways people speak. It is the story that is worth the listen. I enjoyed the listen. Thanks.

The Hunter’s Mate

I had a ball, listen to this story. Reyna is strong, independent and stubborn. Where as Hale is an alpha male, who expects his mate to follow orders without questions or challenges. As you know opposites do attract . I must say that I love how Hale claims Reyna at first sight as his mate. Also, I love how Reyna fights for Hale, then turns around and enjoys her punishment. Overall, this story will leave you on the edge til the very end.

I received this audiobook for free at my request for an honest review. Narrator Dominick Masters did a wonderful job on the characters. Loved this short, sexy story. My only problem with this book is I wish it would have been longer, it is a great story with great characters and story line. Cantari hunter Hale finds human Reyna, and sparks fly, they are perfect for each other. Ready for the next!!
