so much potential!
a decent storyline, but not the best written. The story has great bones, but there are flashbacks that are very difficult to keep up with. Sometimes, they're prompted and other times they're not. I found myself having to literally say out loud, "oh it's a flashback" after listening for a minute or two. wondering what is going on. The ending was slightly predictable, but decent. This book could have easily been four or five stars with the help of a good editor.

Good story
This book took me a while to get into, but I am glad I stuck with it. Took a little time to get around to the essence of the story and to puzzle out where the flashback story was going to connect with the present but ultimately it came together well.

Stick around , it took me a while
The beginning was so slow and confusing. I would stop and listen to music go back listen. I almost decided to delete it. I think it was the ring that got me. Can’t explain it. It will give it away.
