Jane Bailey

Jane Bailey is the author of five novels and a book of comic verse. Her first novel was shortlisted for the Dillons Prize. Her fifth novel, 'What Was Rescued', will be published in April 2017.

Jane is a writer-in-residence for Cheltenham Festivals' First Story, which promotes creative writing in schools serving low-income communities. She has tutored on Arvon Creative Writing Courses, and regularly hosts THE BIG READ at The Times Cheltenham Literature Festival.

At the Stroud Book Festival she chaired Ian McEwan and interviewed him about his latest book 'Nutshell'.

Jane lives in Gloucestershire.
