I anxiously await for more in the Reilly series

My second listen!

I’m thrilled that I found Dervla McTiernan’s detective series. I was waiting for the next release and I was not disappointed. Just like the previous books, this one had jaw-dropping twists, turns, surprises, conniving and devious activity plus separate subplots that merge together so well. And the “bad guys” deserve what they get. Listen intently as this audictive listen moves smoothly and fast. Aoife McMahon is indeed one of my favorite narrators and for good reason; I’d be transfixed with her reading a dictionary, cereal box, etc. McTiernan in expertly paired with McMahon and I look forward to more in the Cormac Reilly series. I’m hoping for the next in this suspenseful series. Well worth a treasured credit for sure. Highly recommended! Please, may I have more, more, more? Epic, I say! EPIC! EPIC! EPIC!

Another great one from McTiernan

I loved this series and all of McTiernan’s short stories. Her writing is impeccable and I loved the decision to have the same narrator for all of the books. I’d grown bored of most procedurals until I ran across McTiernan’s work. If you like good writing, well written characters and stories that are believable yet keep you guessing than you should read this book, bur start with the first in the series.

I’ve read everything I can get my hands on by this author, Dervla McTiernan, and have loved every single book of hers.

this book has a few plot lines interwoven with each other and it's interesting to see how they connect or don't connect.

Good.

I liked it but then I’m biased since I’m from her locale neck of the woods. The plot was a tad convoluted at times but it did come together. Some of the characters a bit mean and wicked for Ireland but I suppose.... reader is excellent. Keep them coming!
