Surprising, moving account ...

...combining fiction and real events. This title appeared as an Audible recommendation based on my preferences. It provides vivid and evocative descriptions of people and places and events. The narrator is excellent.

Great subject

The author wove together three story lines so artfully they seem as one. The story gives you a good view into mental anxiety, tragedy, death, love and friendship

Aoife McMahon is one of my favorite narrators. This story kept me intrigued from the beginning.

Wonderful story and read!

I started this story on a short road trip, then took my time finishing it after I got home. I so enjoyed the story despite sensing some of the details (no spoilers). The characters were so colorful & real! I laughed out loud throughout and may never visit IKEA the same again :)

Couldn’t stop listening!

I have enjoyed the narration of Aoife McMahon by a couple of authors! She does excellent work. Carmel Harrington has crafted a story that weaves together past and present of two families in a way that keeps you listening every chance you get. Can’t wait to try another title by her.

Great story brilliantly told

Emotion and humour beautifully blended. Second time listening to this one, this time with my family. We started it as a nighttime routine but binge listened the last 10 chapters.
