I like Dan

I’ve listened to these books somewhat out of order but I’m happy that the female lead is strong (crazy, but not whiny).

My only complaint is i don’t feel it’s appropriate to describe child sexual abuse in detail. It’s very distasteful & could be traumatic for someone who has experienced it.

Love it!

I actually have already read books 2 & 3 before coming back to this one in the series. I love them as stand alone books, but I’m so glad I went back to the beginning! I’m looking forward to continuing the series.

Good story, interesting characters.

Well done with relatable, interesting characters. Kept me engaged throughout. A good listen, without a lot of “filler”.

A cut above the genre

Better than the usual thriller for certain. Excellent narrator. Looking forward to Book 2.

Weatherley rights a wonderful novel and by the end I was deeply sad for the villain. Excellent performance by James Lainey.

Excellent narration

I could listen to James Lailey narration all day. Excellent!!!

This book was a great listen but he made it better.

Overall worthwhile

Some of the narration was slightly difficult to follow at times. The mentions of Rachel got a bit tiresome but eventually there was a reason for it so all was forgiven. I did enjoy it.
