Publisher's Summary

The Realms continue in this epic sequel to the best sellers Barrow King and Scourge of Souls.

“We could end this war before it begins.”

Gryph thought freeing his sister Brynn from the shackles of the High God would be the end of his mission.

Only to learn it was just the beginning.

Tasked with building an army for the Resistance, Gryph quickly realizes it will never be enough to curb the High God’s despotic quest to control the Realms.

Victory seems hopeless.

But then a long-buried secret resurfaces, and a desperate plan is hatched.

The survival of the Realms is in Gryph’s hands. If he fails, billions of souls will suffer a fate worse than death.

Can Gryph uncover the mysteries of his past in time to save the Realms, or will his actions hand victory to the High God?

The Forsaken God continues the number one best-selling epic LitRPG saga that began in Barrow King. The Realms will never be the same.

Listen to the rest first. A great story

I’ll be honest I picked this one up without having read the other four first. My foolish mistake. Now that being said I enjoyed it immensely. Now liken my experience to watching return of the Jedi without having seen any other Star Wars movie. Great characters but with relationships and powers and intricacies of personalities that I was totally clueless about. Still highly enjoyable but I just know it would have been better with the prior four books knowledge. That being said there are great quests, godlike abilities, leveling trees, powers and gear that just rock and would make any d&d group drool to find in a drop. Enjoy the book But please only after listening to the rest. It will be worth the wait.

Another great entry in this series!

The Forsaken God continues the story Gryph, Lex and the rest of the gang. It is chock full of adventure, slaying monsters, level ups and comedy. This is an awesome story in The Realms series and fans of the series will love it. I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

Keep going and listen. You will enjoy it if you are this far in. Armen Taylor is really impressive with their voicework.

Entertaining but no real progress.

I have enjoyed this entire series and Forsaken God is no exception, but I am a bit disappointed in the lack of progress here. There was plenty of action and some solid character growth, but I still felt cheated at the end. That said, it was a fun listen and I will definitely continue with the next book of the series.

Great Backstory and incredible twists!

Armen Taylor once again does a fantastic job with his narration. I love how much the previous books lay the groundwork for this incredible story. I find myself with my jaw dropped from all the cool twists and story line threads that Mr. Carney lays down. This story has a great many battles that keep you interested as well as all the character development. Continue with the good work and I'll find myself impatiently awaiting Chaos Rising.

Great Series

Overall a great series and by far one of the more energetic of the series. This series has great potential and I look forward to seeing how all the little hints and story arcs evolve throughout the series!

Awesome

I think this may be one of the best ones. Armen delivers a great performance as expected. The story progresses at a pace that seems forced at times but then flows very well. I am absolutely loving this series.

Great LITRPG Sequel

The fate of this universe literally rests on the outcome of the actions of Griff and his team.

If I could describe this one, it's a whole a big dollop of Ready Player One, a pinch of Sword Art Online.

If you watch Anime, then this book is for you, similarity between this and of the Sword Art Online is very close with Griffs Drive to protect his friends and the world at large from a the greatest threat he could of ever feared.

The Twists and turn throughout the book will keep you on edge and will keep you listening well untill the early hours of the morning.
The Endig ro this book will have to Screaming and thrusting for more.

Overall I would say this newest edition to the saga was well worth the wait and cannot wait for the 6th.
As Always A Loyal Fan CM Carney, Look forward to the rest.
