Wonderful story!

Loved it! Even had me cry for joy and pain. Takes you on one man's epic journey and how he influenced his people!

an absolute amazing story. give it a couple chapte

an absolutely amazing story you truly fall in love with the characters. the only one complaint I had is the narrator loves to take a little bit of a pause between each sentence and in the beginning it kind of got under my skin but after a couple chapters you don't even notice it

Fast paced story with plenty of action and feeling

The only this I disliked about these books in the somewhat lack of descriptions. Overall I enjoyed it very much.

Amazing from start to finish

The performance by the reader was so good during the emotional scenes the voices that he use brought me to tears and the story is so amazing

Great and Innovative Trilogy

I didn't realize this was a companion to Hale's other books and I didn't need to. It was a phenomenal story and everything action fantasy should be. The three books were well formed and synced together and the way he integrated them into the overall Luminia storyline was really well done. The use of the trolls as the basis if the story was super innovative along with the rational for how they started as antagonist and eventually became protagonist was excellent. highly recommend this. It has some of the best action scenes out there.

Overall, a good series

I purchased book 1 before the trilogy set came out and enjoyed it so when I saw the trilogy set, I purchased it. I enjoyed book 2 as much as book 1 especially the dynamic between Tryton and his prideful brother. The whole aspect of the Construct was a bit out-there and somewhat disjoint with the the rest of the story and environment but it was entertaining, none-the-less. Book 3 was the weakest of the three in that it starts a couple of decades in the future and while Tryton is still a major character, he's no longer the main character. The story moves towards his 3 adult children and their progression into becoming his progeny and successors in defending the recently rediscovered valor of the rock trolls.

One last item, Ben Hale really, really sucks at naming a sword that was instrumental at saving all of Lumineia.
