Good start

This is a good start to the series, There is a lot going on and I think maybe the characters needed to have a little more communication before the resolution happened. I do appreciate the slower build up but at some points I think the pacing was a little off. The narration is done well and it was a pleasant listen.

Sol was such a weak alpha and character

Sol's dad' Grr... Sol"s attitude, arrogance, and manipulations!!! Seeing red. I tried to like him, but he was weak and self centered. So many entitled rich alpha holes made me wretch! Sol was a major disappointment when he was younger doing daddy's bidding, and now his dad is still telling him what to do and interfering in his life. Sol had no integrity and couldn't stand up for himself until it's too late. The narrator was good. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review.

Wonderful listen!!

I really liked this book. It is well written, and the narrator does a fantastic job. The characters have to fight for their HEA, but with their chosen family they get there.

What a great story with enough twists to make it hard to put down. Looking forward to the next one.

This is not your typical love story by Mr. Bates!

This is not your typical loving, seasoned, sit by your fire side to read love story by Mr. Bates. It was a complete out of the box experience for this reader. It is full of ruff, tuff, angst, kidnapping, in fighting between family members, tuff love, grit, etc. etc. It took me two different times reading this book before I was able to finish it, Fortunately I received the Audible version and it did put several questions I had in perspective and I got some answers to others. Mr. Bates is one of only a few Auto buy Authors for this reader and this has taken me awhile to write my reviews of the book and this audible version. Not because I did not want to, but because I wanted to do honest reviews. I am looking forward to the next book in this series. An avid reader in Rock Tavern, NY.

Love This!!!!

The Family We Make is the first book in the Hellion Club series by Aiden Bates. This is an m/m romance with an mpreg element. It is also a second chance romance with jealous, junkie exes, horrible grandparents, and adorable children. There is a great dose of drama, danger and angst. There is also humor, forgiveness, heat and love. Alex and Sol are great characters and I love them together... those outside forces needed to get lost.

☆Narration by Blayke Moresby was well done. The voicework and recording was smooth and clear.

Amazing audiobook!

I absolutely love this book! I have red it multiple times already and still can’t get enough. Even though Sol is kind of an idiot most of the book, I do believe that it makes it all the more interesting since we get to see him change.
The narration is really great too. The narrator gave the characters fitting voices, and his intonation was on point too.

Great story, well narration

I forgot how much I liked this story. It was well narrated, and there was really no point when you didn’t know what/who you were listening to in the story.
