CODY

Getting knocked up mid mission isn’t the absolute worst way to torpedo your special forces career, I guess. But getting knocked up by my best friend - a freaking mafia prince - makes for a special kind of FUBAR that military jargon just isn’t equipped to handle.

Life is about prioritizing what matters most and standing by those choices. I’ve never regretted mine. Parents said pick between being gay or being part of this family, I said see you later. My superiors said you can have a husband and kids or you can be the most badass omega special ops leader this army’s ever seen, I said sign me up.

The universe threw the beautiful and alluring ballet dancer Nikolai into my path and I picked friendship instead of the chance he might be the love of my life. I thought I was okay with that. That it wasn’t settling.

But now he’s missing and I’m pregnant after a night of too much drinking and too few inhibitions and all I know is I can’t do this without him. Not because I’m incapable. But because I’ve given up on too much without a fight. I won’t make the same mistake again.

NIKOLAI

Some say the family you choose matters more than the family you’re born with.

Growing up in Russia, I drew comfort from that. I didn’t have to be defined by people I had nothing in common with: the criminal enterprises, the abhorrent views on gay men and omegas in particular…so many things I was happy to leave behind when I left for a career dancing in New York.

But now they want me back, as a puppet in schemes that have nothing to do with me or what I want. My only hope lies with my best friend Cody. It’s not his capabilities I doubt. He’s so much more than he realizes.

No, it's that I don’t know he’ll even want to help me, once he realizes how much I’ve lied to him.

How many secrets I’ve kept.

But its all out in the open now. It’s time to face my past once and for all. Only then can I face my future.

This 50,000 word standalone novel about mafia men and mpreg will keep you on edge from start to its Happily Ever After. Sparks fly beneath the sheets while bullets fly in the streets, so be 18 and older when listening!

Family Feud?

This is the 4th book in the Frat Boys Baby series, and I haven't read/listened to the others yet, so it took me a while to get a grasp of some of the other characters. Steve Millikan does a good job of voicing the different characters and creating reasonable accents for them.
I like military and ballet and this tale combines an Omega who has earned his place in the military squad he heads up with an alpha Russian ballet dancer. It was quite an interesting way in which these two have come together and the unexpected pregnancy that results from a rare night of lowered inhibitions cases complications for both fathers in their careers and family dramas.
If you enjoy interesting tales of non-shifter MPreg omegas and alphas then this is for you.

Great stand alone for the series

I haven't read this series but I was able to easily follow along and was very hooked by the couple's stories and backgrounds. Information was leaked throughout the book instead of in one big chunk!

I could of used one more sex scene there at the end and would of liked to hear how they cohabited after everything!

Still a great story that captures the reader!

Love the story!!!

This is one of those stories that you wait on and it is so much better than you imagined. Best friends Cody and Nikolai cross over into a romantic relationship that was not planned. The way their story unfolds will have you sitting in your car and ignoring the world to find out what happens next.

The narration on this book is incredible.

Worth A Listening!

This is the fourth book in The Frat Boys Baby Series. An intriguing book the writing was good. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters likeable. The characters were developed and thought out. Nikolai and Cody are the MC’s of this book. The narration was by Steve Millikin who is a new narrator to me. The narration was done well. He made an attempt at different voices for each character. He wasn’t monotone, and the flow of his narration was good. He made the book enjoyable to listen too. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Very good!

Although I hadn't read the other books in this series, I didn't feel particularly lost so this one works well as a standalone. I really enjoyed this one from start to finish and I really want to go back and read the others in the series! The authors did a great job building the story and the characters had excellent chemistry! I really liked this narrator and thought he did an excellent job with this book!

Great story!

I love that this story isn't a typical Alpha and Omega story. I love that the Alpha is an ballet dancer and the Omega is the soldier. Now Steve Millikin did a great job in narrating this book. It made the story great to listen to.

Omega Soldier falls in love

Let me start off by saying I haven't read the first 3 books in this series yet and I still loved this story. I was able to keep up with the story line very easily. I will probably go back and read the other 3 now though. This story is well written with intrigue, romance, action, and a HEA. I definitely enjoyed the fact that this Omega is not only strong and independent but also works in a field that we don't normally see Omegas in. I could tell from the story that the love affair between Nikolai and Cody has been a long time coming and even within this book they had to deal with circumstances that kept them from each other but they overcome all of that just like in any good romance book. I am looking forward to the next book in this series and I will most definitely be looking at more books from these authors. The narration was well done, an enjoyable listen.

Really enjoyed this one.

I loved that the Alpha was a ballet dancer and the Omega was the big bad military guy, which is not how these stories would normally be. And when Nikolai was kidnapped, it was Cody who rescued him. I loved the snark between them. I also loved Cody's teammates. The end did seem a little rushed to me as it appeared that the authors had to wrap up the story quickly. I haven't read the other books in the series but will be going back & doing that. I also found it odd that after all these years of Cody calling his family & leaving unanswered voice mail messages, that when he shows up they accept him & tell him how proud they are of him.

Not your typical Alpha and Omega

I liked the overall story, though I do recommend reading the series in order, while it can technically stand alone I think it would make the experience even more enjoyable. I also liked that they weren't the standard big strong alpha and little sweet/sassy omega. Millikin did a good job with the narration but there were quite a few repeated sentences and the whole title at every chapter was a bit annoying. Overall it was a good listen.
