as good as the ebook

The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

Marcus is on a new job with the FBI. On the night he made it to his new job he meets an omega named Gio. They spend the night together and then discover that Marcus is his new boss. As Marcus learns his job and tries to navigate the tricky situation with Gio, his mind travels to a realm where he feels he's missing something. Then Gio discovers he's pregnant about the time both men discover something that makes them start to shuffle the murky waters of their job.
Todd Waller is an amazing narrator who voice draws you into the story and keeps you riveted.

Adventure from the beginning

This book is action packed and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Once I started listening I couldn't stop until the end.
Narrator Todd Waller does a good job.

All the Feels

Gio is an undercover FBI agent. He has just come in from a 13 month job. Tired, exhausted, and looking for a break, his upline insists that he leave immediately for his next job. He is to join the accounting department of a well known financial company looking for paperwork discrepancies.

Marcus has been hired as the new CEO, his reputation of intregrity and business accum on display to keep their clients happy.

Gio is to dig up the dirt. Marcus is to keep the business looking sterling. How can these two come together with such opposite goals?

Our wily authors wring all the feels in this story... a loud Italian family, rival gangs, mystery, betrayal, laughter, anger, frustration, a few tears (have tissues handy, just in case), mouthy babysitting teenagers, and a heartfelt HEA.

Todd Waller, narrator, has an easy to follow voice, and did a pretty good job with the various regional accents and characters. He is completely engaging.

A technical blip was the same line being read twice. There wasn't a "scritch" or anything. It was a seamless reread. It happened about 4 times throughout the book.

I am in love with the Frat Boys series. Each book can be read as a stand-alone, but it is fun to recognize characters making their appearance in this book if you've read the previous stories.

I love this series. The narration is great and there really aren’t any moments when you don’t know who’s talking.

A pay attention story

This isn’t a book you put on in the background. Be prepared to stop and listen, because you’ll find yourself doing just that. The cast of characters are easier to follow if you have read the previous books, but is a stand alone story. By the end of this book you will want to listen to the rest of the series.

Another good book in this series!

I liked this story and would recommend it. It has a little action/ suspense for something a little different with the romance. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was the narrator's voice for Gio. Nothing wrong with it just not my preference. However, it was easy to tell the characters apart.

Loved Geo and Marcus

At first it seemed to have to many character names but once you got it all straight in your mind it was a good story. It’s nice how the different characters flow from story to story.

great story!

Gio is an omega undercover FBI agent who is sent to investigate a company in Chicago. He meets an Alpha one night in a hotel restaurant and decides to let his guard down enough to explore the attraction during an one night stand. Complications arise when that alpha, Marcus, turns out to be an executive with the company he is currently undercover at. Then, things get even more complicated when they find out they are about to be parents, not to mention dirty FBI agents, gang members and a lot of other interesting components that come into play in this entertaining read from Austin and Aiden Bates. Definitely recommend this book

Narration is done by Todd Waller. Fantastic job with bringing story to listeners. Good voice.

A bit of everything!

The narrative was enhancing. It is a fast paced romance with a happy ending. It is a bit angsty and the omega and alpha rules are a bit different from usual, but that helps make the story different and fresh. I enjoyed it a lot!
