Has helped me unlock my full potential

As a business owner, I’m busy therefore would eat anything. In addition, I’m always critically thinking and needed something to boost my energy and increase my focus and concentration. I’ve tried lots of plans but when I came across this book, I realized I have finally found the perfect plan to transform my productivity and life as a whole. It makes sense and easy to implement. It was alright

I am not sure this should be a full credit on audiobooks. I was disappointed with length and depth of the work. It’s a good pep talk for one walk or one side of a train commute.

Wish I had this audio book 4 months ago

True story.
4 months ago, my mom visited me in the US from my home country. After about a week, she had all sorts of allergy reactions on her face and neck. The Dr., after running some allergy tests, concluded she was allergic to sea food.

We eliminated sea food from her diet + allergy medications but the problem persisted. She is back home and doing well because she returned to her familiar foods, which are definitely organic.

After going through the audio book, I'm 100% certain this diet elimination technique would have worked.

The author gives a practical and workable approach on how to go about an elimination diet strategy.

I strongly recommend this book!

Great guide!

If you want a step-by-step program to get healthier and on top of that learn the causes of headaches, bloat, hormonal issues, this one is for you!

I get really bad headaches from time to time, so I'm excited I found this book so I can identify which food groups cause my head to hurt.

I love the food diary that comes with this book. Great narration as well.

Insightful, Informative, Applicable

I've struggled with gut problems for the last few years, and have sought ways to address the problem from a variety of sources. Ironically, the most functional so far have been this book. "The Elimination Diet" not only provides practical insights on the source of poor gut health and negative food triggers, but applicable, techniques and strategies for ameliorating and addressing these issues.

Since having applied these strategies to my own diet, and experimenting with my own bio-feedback, I've found my own digestive health improving gradually but significantly. While the amount of knowledge in this book will require going back for multiple listens, what I've learned thus far have has been powerful.

Additionally, the narrator is even toned and easy to understand, without being so laid back in their delivery that they put the listener to sleep. Obviously the author is well informed on the subject, and makes the content enjoyable to consume. For anyone looking for solid and informative title on digestive health, would definitely recommend this audiobook.

Simple, Effective and IT WORKS!

I was first skeptical about the elimination diet so I reserved writing a review till experiencing some results myself. It's been only one week and I CAN TOTALLY FEEL THE DIFFERENCE. The concept of the elimination diet is not only scientific but you can TRUST Dr. Strong as he is a real practitioner of Functional Medicine with years of experience instead of some faceless publisher writing random things and giving tips irresponsibly! I highly recommend going through the book and try the process out for a while, I was lucky to book an appointment with Dr. Strong. Absolutely worth it!

This is More than a Diet

Wow I've never heard of this diet before. I will definitely try it out and see what food my body reacts to and how. I've always wanted to know how I react to certain foods like dairy and sugar, but I haven't thought about taking this approach. It makes a lot of sense to start with clean eating and then slowly adding potential negative triggers. Also, the whole 9-week plan is clearly understandable and doable, so there's no excuse for not doing the elimination diet. The only disadvantage is its name. I think this is more than a diet and should be treated as such! I can really recommend this audiobook.

it actually works

it hard for me to take action. me and my girlfriend decided to do this together and go on this weightless journey. so far, the book is well down. i am seeing and feeling a lot more healthy. i hope to continue further.

A quickstart guide to healing yourself

As someone who went through their own painful journey with food as an adult, this book is A MUST. Certain foods are probably inflamming you and causing countless health issues and the elimination diet is the ONLY practical way to deal with this. This short book will tell you exactly what you need to do with no fluff. It will help you understand how certain foods trigger you, and how to adjust your diet to reduce inflammation as much as possible.

Highly Recommending

Thank you for this great audiobook. I now have a better gut, and the best part is I no longer suffer from bloating. I can focus better and feel wider awake. Diet is truly the key to a happy life.

A must-listen

I was hook by the first chapter "how two months of purposeful eating will change your life forever".
Although I truly think that there is nothing more real than this statement, this chapter is well made, and if you are still not 100% sure of it, the author really broke it down for you.

This audiobook is packed with useful information and I think we all should understand how our body reacts to the food we eat, and the elimination diet is a great way to find it out!

This easy-to-follow, quick listen walks you through the elimination diet process that’s used to identify problematic foods in one’s diet. Chapter 1 sets the stage by outlining how being more mindful about what you eat can offer long-term benefits. My favorite section of the audiobook was Chapter 7, which covered a number of best practices for increasing how successful you’ll be in following an elimination diet.
