A wast of time and money.. this is horrible it a ridiculous book about one persons thoughts of coaching with no insight at all. Any person who has volunteered at a pick up game could write this book

Really awesome Book...

K. Connors does an excellent job of relating both his experiences and helping the non-professional coach. His series of books are great to have, and tailored to the appropriate level of both the coach and age/players. Whether you're a coach or just a dad that wants to better coach his child, they're great to have. I bought the series, and provided the same feedback for all of them.

4 OUT OF 5

The Coach's Guide is an essential book for the parent who, voluntarily or not, ends up coaching a youth sports team. Geared towards baseball, many of the points raised apply to other sports as well. Concise and with plenty of tongue-in-cheek humor, this guide will take a lot of the anxiety out of coaching for the first time, repeatedly emphasizing the importance of keeping the game fun..

5 out of 5

Great tips on organization and getting the best out of both coaches and players. Perfect length for the parent who's trying to cram coaching into an otherwise hectic schedule. Without a doubt, this will be the best money you spend while preparing for your first coaching experience!!!

Good.....

This book is a great help to any parent throwing themselves into coaching for the first time. I wish this book was available to me before I started coaching my kids' teams. The author has the right perspective in working with kids, and the information is applicable across sports.

Would you listen to Coaching Baseball again? Why?

Sure i will..

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes....

Any additional comments?

A study of the differences between the kids of the early eighties and those playing at the same high school twenty years later. More to the point it relates the differences in the parents of those two generations of players.
