A good purchase.

I listen to a lot of sports psychology books during my commute. I am training for extreme distance triathlons. This book did heavily focus on golf. It did, however, touch on other sports. Either way, the concepts in this book will work for any sport, or any athlete. It was a great purchase and the narrator/author did an exceptional job narrating.

Very helpful even if you aren’t a golfer

There is much information here for anyone seeking to win at their endeavor. It doesn’t even have to be in sports. I will be re-reading this when I need inspiration to stay on track and maintain a focused purposeful mindset.

Good nuggets but long winded.

I think this could have been condensed to a 20 to 30 page synopsis. While I liked the book, a lot of the examples lasted too long.

Disappointing

I got very bored with this book. Some excellent points and perspectives but far too long and lots of repetition. Half as long would have been much better and the idea that everyone is either an exceptional person or an average person who ‘ultimately leads a dull life’ is just offensive nonsense.

Fastest book I went through! It is a bit golf oriented at times but content is so excellent that it doesn't matter! Bought the book for a teammate and I will listen to it again very soon!

Great insight into the world of elite sport

Having listened to a few of Doc's audio books, I find little pearls of wisdom that I missed before when listening, each time I listen to it again. it's a great insight into the world of elite sport and how our thoughts and how we control them allows people to achieve top levels of performance. It's also a great listen for anyone who wants to improve at anything in life even just being a better person
