Possibly the most feared challenge to learning Spanish is the challenge of memory; there are just too many words and too many rules to remember. For every new word we learn, we seem to forget two old ones, and as a result, fluency can seem out of reach. That is exactly why 1001 Top Spanish Words in Context was created.

Spanish Vocab for beginners
I really enjoyed this audiobook. Spanish vocabulary is something that is difficult for me to memorize. It has helped with my Spanish pronunciation. I like that I can skip through to specific subjects such as weather, professions, or clothing. I enjoy listening while doing other work and not having to stare at a book or being tied to a computer program to work on my vocabulary skills. I am becoming much more comfortable speaking and am quickly understanding the language. Listening to the sections in random order is aiding in my ability to learn the words and that has been extremely helpful. Great product would recommend to other Spanish beginners.

I am really learning a lot of Spanish terms from this audiobook. I love it that the words are spoken repeatedly, well enunciated and categorized so it is easy to comprehend. I really get to practice on how to say each word. I can repeat after the audio or just simply pause it. Plus, I still get to be mobile or do other activities while listening to it unlike with the regular books. Someone who wants to learn Spanish should really get this product. Super helpful for beginners
Would you consider the audio edition of Spanish Audio Flash Cards: Learn 1000 Spanish Words - Without Memorization! to be better than the print version?
Yes! You need to hear the words spoken.
What did you like best about this story?
How clearly the person spoke. And how it was broken up into sections.
Have you listened to any of Mayela Perez’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not but now plan to!
Any additional comments?
Spanish is a beautiful language that does take some time to learn. Vocabulary is incredibly important especially if you're traveling. Once you know the vocab, the transition from English to Spanish is much easier. The vocabulary specifies the gender of the vocab words. Each word is spoken clearly, and it's easy to go back and forth. The Spanish words are pronounced with an accent, and accurate pronunciation, which is useful. It breaks up into different sections, each covering a new and necessary topic. Books like this make it easier for beginners to become more comfortable with such a gorgeous language. I'd recommend purchasing this book and another one for grammar if you're interested in becoming fluent.

**Great way to Learn Spanish in no time**
Where does Spanish Audio Flash Cards: Learn 1000 Spanish Words - Without Memorization! rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
RANK 1, it is wonderful
Any additional comments?
The book is wonderful. We know that Spanish language is not a very easy language to learn. However this audible version of the book is very helpful. It is more than 5 hours long and about a thousand words. I love that each words are repeated twice to make sure that the listeners will be able to understand. Also the pauses made after each Spanish word given is great so that the listeners can mimic what is said. It is a good way of understanding words in Spanish and if repeated to listen everyday you will be a pro in no time in speaking Spanish language. I would also like to commend the clarity of each words. You can hear that each words is properly enunciated and is carefully delivered to make sure listeners from the entire world would understand. And it is divided in sections (animals, foods and etc.) so if you are unable to finish with what you are listening or if there is a section that you are having a hard time you can simply just go back and listen to it again. Each sections will give you topic and will give you general and specific idea about it. Overall I will rate this product as a 10 and I will definitely share this anyone that is interested in learning the Spanish Language.

No experience w/ Spanish; I really like this book!
I have never taken a Spanish class and most of my exposure to the language came from my coworkers at a summer job. I could learn random phrases from them, but I thought Spanish would be difficult to learn because it seems like it's spoken really fast and that masculine/feminine qualities of the words is confusing. I like this audio book because it focuses on learning Spanish vocabulary and doesn't overwhelm beginners to the language by throwing in a bunch of grammar rules. Of course, grammar is an important part of a language, but I think learning the vocabulary is the most daunting aspect of learning a language because it requires a lot of memorization. This audio book makes it easy to remember Spanish vocabulary, even if you've never attempted to learn the language before because the audio is clear and reasonably slow and has adequate pauses in which you can think about and digest each word. It also helps that each word is repeated. However, I think my favorite feature of this audio book is that it emphasizes practical vocabulary, such as words for food, transportation, family, animals, materials, and clothes. These are some of the most practical words someone would need to know when they're trying to converse with another person, so I like that it would be relatively easy to walk around or ride the bus while listening to this audiobook and associate the vocabulary with what you can see around you.

Spanish language is difficult to learn and understand. If you want to take basic Spanish language this book highly recommended. This is like flashcards but with a twist because you only need a phone and an earphone and just listen to it. The special part of it was the author repeats the words so you can pronounce with her. It helps my vocabulary in Spanish. It is well-arranged and I can grasp the words easily. I think after listening to this product I have gain knowledge in terms of Spanish words and how to speak it properly. This is a great product! Definitely a 10/10!

I've purchased some Spanish vocabulary flashcards in a bookstore during my training to learn a spanish language, but when I've found out that this cool app is available online with cheaper price and same content, I wanted to punch myself. Stacks of vocabulary words were sitting in a storage unit in my home now. I mean who would want to carry flashcards all the time? Rather than buying more index cards, I just need a phone and an app. Luckily, I've found this online audio book. I can listen to it anywhere and anytime.

Great audiobook, no need to look further for basic language.
The audiobook covers an extensive amount of topics, and each chapter is devoted to one topic which is great. The words are pronounced by a native Spanish speaker which really helps with mastering the correct way of speaking.
The book has helped me improve my pronunciation of difficult Spanish words, and for newcomers, the addition of masculine/feminine clarification is important to the learning of this language.

Very good as part of learning Spanish.
I'm 3 months into my Spanish journey and really do like this. Sometimes the pronunciation of the English words is a bit confusing (took me a while to work out she was 'jaw') but after doing this everyday for the last few weeks I'm really getting to grips with it!
I have been refusing to move on until I crack a subject matter. So when I know what 100% of the words are, I move on to the next subject.
This is not stand alone stuff, I've got lots of other materials for grammar and conversation. But for pure vocabulary improvement... brilliant.
Very good!

Helpful tool for learning Spanish
Any additional comments?
The audiobook is a useful tool for learning Spanish. Building vocabulary is not always easy, but the approach offered by this book has been of great help. The pace of the audio drills is appropriate and ideal for new learners like me, and the content is bite-sized, which makes it easy to dip into. A huge plus, of course, is the fact that the words are pronounced by native Spanish speakers. I am now much more confident in pronouncing and speaking in Spanish!

Well structured and lots of words!
Any additional comments?
Wow this audiobook has a huge variety of words. It's more than 5 hours of Spanish vocabulary, very well organised in different groups and subgroups of words (animals, verbs, nouns...). The narrator says the words in a perfect native Spanish and then the translation in English. What I like the most is that she says if the words are male or female, that is very important for me. I just don’t understand why it says that you’ll learn ‘Without Memorization’ because I still have to memorize everything. Overall it is a good audiobook to brush up your Spanish or even to add a few new words to your vocabulary.

Great read, Definitively recommended!
Would you consider the audio edition of Spanish Audio Flash Cards: Learn 1000 Spanish Words - Without Memorization! to be better than the print version?
Great read and it really helped me brush up on my Spanish for the last trip to visit my friend’s villa.
Really simple but informative, i listened to it on the way to and from work for just three weeks and i totally nailed speaking with the locals at my friend’s village.
Unlike other flash card books this one really focuses on the words you need to know day-to-day and really reinforces words in a way that helped me remember them when i needed to!
I have already recommended to a few of my friends, i can’t suggest this audio book enough.
Check it out now!

Very useful aid
Very good aid to learning Spanish. Users should realise that this is in Latin American Spanish and not Castilian so, for instance, the word used to translate potatoes is papas and not patatas, but these are rare. English pronunciation is sometimes not clear but is usually understandable. This is not a course it is an audio version of flash cards, so do not expect explanations or grammar just listen to the audio over and over again and let it sink in.

Great for memorising and broadening vocabulary!
Having studied languages for many years, I know that repetition is key to learning vocabulary, and this audiobook is perfect for that!
Comprehensive lists of useful vocabulary are broken up into clear, logical chapters, and further explanations of contextual uses as well as grammatical formations are included where necessary. This ensures that you not only remember the words, but that you know how, and when, to use them in a sentence.
The pronunciation is slow and clear. The vocabulary lists are relevant for all levels of learners, and as promised in the description, this is the ideal audiobook to listen to during the daily commute or house tasks to just effortlessly memorise and broaden your vocabulary.
The only negative feedback is that the chapter order is a bit random and that, although they are numbered, the chapters do not appear listed by topic title. This makes it harder to skip backwards and forwards to choose the subject topic that you would like to focus on.

Seemed a little careless.
I liked the idea of teaching the commonest words. However, the implementation seemed slapdash. The pronunciation of the English words was sometimes poor, by the time you've worked out what's going on, the Spanish word has gone. Some English words have multiple meanings, so giving a one word translation leaves the listener wondering how to interpret. All of the Spanish words for 'to be' are translated as 'to be', even though there are different meanings according to which Spanish version of 'to be' is used. The reader is reading from a text that seems partly edited and doesn't always make sense. For example when the reader says 'word number hashtag', what are we supposed to understand? It would be much easier to learn if the English were given first and then the Spanish because knowing what the word means really helps with hearing and remembering it. For me, the first time that a Spanish word was given was often wasted. It would have been good if the nouns had been given with the definite or indefinite article so that the listener would know the gender.
Paul Noble's audiobook was a much better way of learning Spanish. Paul did not randomly drop in words that could be most useful for reading porn magazines into the word list as the audio flash card track does. It's a good job that my children weren't listening along some of the time.

Invaluable learning resource
The narrator makes good use of tone, pace and pronunciation, resulting in an audiobook that is easy to follow, with chapters that breakdown the learning and makes developing your language skills far less challenging. My six year old grandson listened alongside me for some of the chapters and can now recall nouns including days and months, with ease. An invaluable resource for learning Spanish as a new language or improving your Spanish grammar and vocabulary skills.

Don’t bother . Look at the others ..
Does not make sense at all if you are just starting to learn Spanish. eg . Gives 3 pronunciations for Bull 2 male 1 female without explaining why you have 2 male and what context to use them in ??. Check out some others if you want to switch on and listen. PS. I only gave one star on each , as you cannot submit review unless you do ...

Brilliant
Refreshing and simple way to add to my vocabulary without the usual syntax that apply to other Spanish learning guides. Very fluent and articulate which is great for breezing through effortlessly and has really helped me improve my Spanish vocabulary. I feel the random order of the cards helped me concentrate more and commit to memory what was being said. Fantastic product.
