Really a Great Learning Tool

As someone who could only communicate basic concepts in Spanish, I thought I might be able to at least pick up a few tips or tricks to help me. I actually doubled my vocabulary and Spanish-speaking ability in the first few hours. I was really impressed with both the content and teaching style of the book.

The book narration was also very good. The voice of the narrator was very clear and helped with my pronunciation.

The audiobook also comes with a downloadable PDF which I loved.

I'd recommend this book to everyone trying to learn Spanish or to anyone getting ready to travel to a Spanish-speaking country.

A great introduction to a second language

I grew up speaking Spanish as a second language but have gotten rusty with a couple years of disuse. This title has helped me maintain my skills and I would happily recommend it to someone starting out or maintaining proficiency.

Very useful for learning Spanish.

This book has helped me to really improve my Spanish. The words are introduced in a simple fashion, contextualized in Spanish sentences, and the english translation is given to allow for context. However, It is more effective to play the audio at a reduced playback speed though, so as to follow how the words are being used. Overall, it is a good book which provides a wider access to understanding Spanish in a short time.

Learning so much Spanish in one book. I keep it on repeat. Each replay I retain even more than before.

my go to book

This is not for beginners, you have to have some knowledge to gain from this. Once you have the basics down, it takes a lot of hours, about a thousand hours or so, of listening to spanish to get better at hearing it. I've downloaded many spanish teaching books, and also normal spanish fiction books. This is one of my go-to books that I've been listening to for over a year now. I'm usually doing housework or driving when listening. It seemed too fast for me a year ago, but now they are at the perfect speed because my listening skills have improved with many hours of audiobooks and watching spanish Netflix movies. Whether this book works for you or not depends on what skill level you are currently at.
