Sfx sounds are meh but the story is amazing

Loved the story but prefer if the sound effects were described rather than sounded.

immersion

I feel like if you have actual sound effects instead of the author just making noises the immersion of this story would be much more intense. The performance was three out of five because of this I do like the person who is reading it though cuz as good as he can.

I loved everything about it besides the sound effects. other than that fire. I already bought the third part first audio book I got really into.

The sounds effects make me laugh. And kind of take away from experiencing the story just a little bit

Enjoyable

The narrator still makes the annoying sound effects, but I have listened to two books of it now and going to book 3!

Is it worth it???

After the first book I almost stopped listening to the series since the narration was just so… not good. Well the narrator is still just as not good but story is just drawing me in and I almost have to listen now! Even with all the strange noises the narrator tries to make I still persevered.

Great story, narrator sucks

Like the other books in this series, great storyline, but I don’t think the narrator knows the main character’s name. Jun woo is pronounced in every possible manner except the way any normal person would say it. From “sheonoo” to “jwoo” to ”jeanuu” to “juu” it’s awful and so hard to follow when he’s trying to say the main character’s name. Also again the sound effects are cringe but the name thing annoyed me more.

The story is AMAZING

The sound effects could be done with a better system, but it didn’t make a difference to the story. Loved all of it

Lame sound effects

The story is ok but the sound effects are really bad and not useful. I wish the narrator would record without those childish sound effects.

Story just keeps getting better

The story itself has definitely ensnared me and I just can't stop listening and wanting more lol.
