Grounding, and Uplifting

I want to meet these people!! wow & 10 just was the greatest capstone on a mountain of heart and honesty that rose continually throughout these segments. Rose may not be right - they were stories found with a great eye for a person at home enough in their story now - that, in the sharing, we travel with them through their dark night of the soul to arrive at another place.
Love the concept of anonymous. Yes, I said I wanted to know them. ... - but - I had the only thing they really could give me. and I didn't have to rush out and xyz: scour, grab, buy books. I listened and sat with them. Lucky to have that experience.

Personal and honest

The stories are raw and personal and inspiring. But the sound editing (effects, background music etc) makes it less sincere and cheapen the whole experience.

What an eye opener!

I love the idea that we get to hear stories the no one would want to share on a TED talk. There are things in life that are just to personal, embarrassing or scary to get up in front of a stage and talk about. These are the story of Sincerely, X!

Burnout

I think this speaker was awfully hard on herself. I am not so convinced she could have talked this patient into staying. A medical provider can only do so much.

Episode 7

I have really enjoyed the first 6 episodes and understand why they were told anonymously. But I don’t see Episode 7 as a fit. It was a nice presentation perfect for the TED stage. I am also a female executive that had similar experiences in the 80’s and 90’s and I take every opportunity to share my stories, experiences and reflections with as many people as possible. Courageous leadership is rare but critical to change. Speak up, own your truth.

Should be more of a story structure

Not a fan of Ted Talks, needs to be more of a story type! This is more like an interview, which isn't as fun.

Wonderfully Enlightening

As a person who thinks they’re pretty adept at viewing other perspectives I found this series riveting and wildly entertaining! I found each talk to be insightful, thoughtful and heartfelt. My favorite talk was from the inner city AP English teacher. I have never thought about how children growing up in urban poverty might act out because I’m so far removed from the environment. After hearing the talk I couldn’t imagine how frustrating it must be for the children and teachers, I’m so grateful we have people like the speaker in the world to help these kids and as a mom of 5, I took to heart what was said and will apply it to my own children and our lives. I hope there will be more talks soon, I can’t get enough!
