Thank you for sharing, and thank you Sincerely X for telling his story. I disagree with the previous post and found the listen enlightening and helpful. In fact, I think I’ll listen to it again and make reminders. The author shares a lot to consider.

Enlightening and helpful

What was most disappointing about the authors’s story?

The author could have considered the fact that although he had poor experiences with therapists, others actually have entirely different experiences. Yes, the system does require more access and a better approach to the industry, but replacing it with anything silicon valley-esque, will take that last human interaction for help that so many rely on. Just remember where this guy comes from, he is a god on his perch and pointing the finger here there and everywhere- is what he expects to do with his power, including when he was in what was perceivably a difficult time in his own life experience. Good counseling will actually guide one in a structured path that actually allow a person to untangle the knots of despair (or whatever their issue), be accountable and deliver measurable results over time. But whatever though, maybe others in this guy's sphere might benefit from his startup inventions.

With respect, what a pompous attitude
