I really liked all 3 books so far

In this book, the captain, continued to be predictable. The best way I can describe it is that the story is going along well with good development and good action, but the characters seem stuck. Tad seems especially stuck in limbo. His character hasn't grown, he has the same tendencies, same weaknesses, etc. He isn't a bad character, but as the protagonist, I'd expect more growth in his character and some of the secondary characters. This doesn't make the story bad, it could just be better. I still want to read book 4 and now I have to actually put up a full credit when I want it.

Disappointing characters

The main character lacks decisiveness and always has a monologue at critical moments that has nothing to do with the critical task. Such an indecisive character makes the storyline hard to follow.

And outlandishly fun Syfy experience

I pick this title up with a little expectation, just some mindless entertainment. I ended up finishing the entire book in the span of two days! The story proceeds at a breathless pace with unexpected turns around every corner. Thoroughly enjoyable

Great series! One little thing though...

I've fully enjoyed Shattered Dawn, and the series as a whole, up to this point. Great plot and well written characters. I do, however, have one little issue. At times, the protagonist's repetitive back & forth inner dialog began to sound like nails on a chalkboard. I've never before read, or listened, to a book where I didn't mind, nay, thought it necessary, to skip paragraphs, ie. fast forward multiple 15 sec jumps at a clip. Without the slightest fear of missing part of the story. The book could have easily been 2+ hrs shorter without the extended back and forth internal dialogue - and would have been the better for it, imho.

Don’t believe the less than 5 stars!

This series is awesome! If you want a fun read with action, adventure, overcoming adversity and cool space technology, then read this series! Like many books, you could pick apart things here and there, criticize the development of the main characters, but I’ve enjoyed the series until now and look forward to reading the next two books!

Is a lot better book than the 2nd

I found myself enjoying this book the more I got into it. Especially enjoyed the plant creature and its offspring. That was actually the best part of the book. The author is really becoming adept at telling his story in this book. A lot of the mistakes from book 2 were not present in book 3. This was a far better book than I figured it would be thus a higher rating. A Good Book.

Excellent. Definitely a 5 Star.

Well written and performed. I particularly liked the way that each chapter ended with excitement and/or suspense, paused and then continued to the next chapter. This was the final book of a three book series and all three of the books were five star. So, I highly recommend.

Fantastic, just like the previous 2

Loved it, can't wait to start the next book. It's fantastic to find a well written series free with audible and void of sexual content and bad language.

Audio performance lacks

Unfortunately it might be a good book but the person reading this audio has no drama or flow in his voice. Failing to portray the actual story.

Nice, little shop of horrors, good narration

Interesting battles with some very close shaves. Chacters are varied and some unusual plant life, not seen nice an 80's musical. Well worth a read and looking forward to the hoped for next chapter.
